Convention date, March 16. [Class 108 (ii).] In a motor vehicle in which the steering wheels are also driven, half-axle members 1 are pivoted to the stub axles 10 for steering movement only and are pivoted to the chassis frame by bearings extended longitudinally of the vehicle, such as two bearings 4, 5 spaced apart. A transverse spring 16 is secured at its centre by stirrups 17 to the gear-box 19 fixed to the frame and is connected at its ends to the axle end members 9 by shackles 18.
