481,622. Trailer - vehicle suspensions. MARENBON, A., POLLARD, T. A., and DYSON & CO., Ltd., R. A. Nov. 4, 1936, No. 29981. Drawings to Specification. [Class 108 (ii)] A trailer for limited road travel consists of an underslung chassis suspended at three points from front and rear wheel axles, the front axle being connected to the chassis for swivelling movement about a vertical axis to provide a steering control and also for swivelling movement about a longitudinal axis to permit the axle to tilt laterally. As shown the frame has the forward parts approaching one another and at the front end the. axle havings wheels is provided with a depending pin within a housing having longitudinal trunnions in bearings. The frame is shown and the spring suspensions employed for both front and rear axles are described in Specification 481,623.
