Abstract

387,754. Vehicle suspension. CONDELL, E., Russelstown, Athy, Co. Kildare, Irish Free State. Sept. 29, 1931, No. 27035. [Class 108 (ii).] In a rigid six-wheeled motor vehicle having rivetted equalizing springs 3, pivoted at 2 to the frame 1 and at 4 above the rear axle 6, the front end of each spring is connected to the forked bracket 8, which also carries a stub axle 9 for the road wheel 10, the lower end 12 of the bracket 8 being connected to a bracket 14 on the frame 1 by a radius rod 11. The brackets 8 on opposite sides of the vehicle are connected by a transverse angle 15 iron riveted to the bracket 8 and to a toe 16 projecting rearwardly therefrom.
