Abstract

846,337. Drilling-jigs. HILL, L. S. Jan. 16, 1959 [Jan. 17, 1958; April 30, 1958], Nos. 1638/58 and 13677/58. Class 83 (3). [Also in Group XXIII] A sleeve d slidable on the shaft of a screwdriver, hand-drill or the like to prevent sideslip of the tool, terminates in an outwardly flared cone d<SP>1</SP> of transparent character. A rubber ring g is attached to the end of the cone d, the end of the sleeve remote from the cone having an annular flange d<SP>2</SP> for finger manipulation. A coil spring to urge the sleeve away from the handle b may surround the shaft between the handle and the sleeve. In a modification the tube and cone are slit longitudinally to aid assembly, and are provided with fastening means such as stud and aperture connections. The Provisional Specifications describe also a sleeve which slides against' a shoulder to limit its outward movement.
