Abstract

330,022. Aktieselskabet Fisker & Nielsen, and Fisker, P. A. March 12, 1929. Powder distributers.-A vessel 1 for containing the powder to be disseminated has an air tight cover 2 carrying a chamber 3 supplied with compressed air through a handle 24, and closed by a disc 11 perforated at 10 'through which air passes to the nozzle 17. A tube 15 depending into the vessel 1 communicates with passages 14 in the disc 11 controlled by a screw valve 20 and leading to an outlet tube 13. Immediately above a tube 9, which admits compressed air to the vessel 1 are one or more openings 4 controlled by a spring-operated valve disc 5 which may be closed by a lever 6. When the valve 5 is closed air forces material through the tube 15 to the nozzle 13 when it is atomized or disseminated. On opening the valve 5, air escapes from the vessel through the tube 9, this being assisted by the aspirating action of air escaping past the end' of the tube 9.
