Abstract
748,229. Spray-producers &c. ANDERSON, W. W. June 25, 1954 [May 26, 1953], No. 14603/53. Divided out of 747,619. Class 69 (3). Water fed to a pipe 20 flows through a venturi throat 29 to a spraying nozzle, not shown, and a portion of the flow passes through a passage 22 into a closed air vessel 21. The air displaced in the vessel passes through a valvecontrolled passage 24 to a container 23 of liquid insecticide &c., and the insecticide is delivered via a, passage 28 controlled by a valve 30 to the main water stream. A float-operated valve 26 prevents the entry of water into the container 23. By closing the valve 30 and a valve 32 in the pipe 20 paint or whitewash &c. may be delivered from an outlet 33 of the liquid container under air pressure. Specification 747,619 is referred to.
