Abstract
293,670. Davis, T. A., and Watson, A. V. April 22, 1927. Divided on 293,507. [Class 60, Grinding or abrading &c.]. Razors, safety.-The handle 1, Fig. 1, of a safety razor screws into a hollow-ground blade 4 at 2, and by a shoulder 2<a>, clamps a bladeholder 3 in position. This holder 3 is H-shaped having spring arms 6, 7, Fig. 2, with end tangs 8, 9 which engage in holes in a blade-guard 10. The guard 10 is of U-shape and is thus spring held in the operative position shown in Fig. 3. A knob 14, Fig. 1, and extensions 15, 16, Fig. 2. of the holder 3 are for use with a stropping device described in Specification 293,507, [Class 60, Grinding or abrading &c.].
