Abstract

291,208. Maywhort, G. April 29, 1927. Stropping - apparatus. - A machine for stropping safety razor blades consists of a U- shaped frame having slots A in the arms in which are journaled a. roller F of rubber &c. and a blade-holder having a cylindrical part D; a clip H fits over the holder to retain the blade in position. In operation, a strop is passed beneath the roller F, and the machine is reciprocated by means of a handle B, the roller F contacting with the part D and serving to reverse the blade holder. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 4778/04 and 15364/04.
