Auxiliary hand and foot propelling mechanism. -In a bicycle or tricar, the pedal spindle 3 drives the intermediate spindle 4 through a free-wheel sprocket 5, a sprocket 7 fixed to the spindle 4 being adapted to drive or be driven by the sprocket 11 fixed to the engine crank shaft 8, while the sprocket 6 drives the chain wheel 13 on the road wheel either directly or through the medium of the connected sprockets 9, 10 mounted freely on the crank shaft 8.
