Abstract

282,613. Tarjßn, A. Sept. 12, 1927. Hinges readily separable about hinge pins; attaching to articles. -Cylindrical bracket members c are provided to engage with boring formed in the hinged and supporting members, these brackets each being provided with open grooves d which are closed at the side by the side of the borings, the ends of the grooves being shaped to form nailbending devices, as shown. The ends d of the grooves are arc-shaped or they are formed with straight ends formed at an angle to the brackets. Metal caps may be fitted around the barckets c, with openings for the nails. A guide piece f may be fitted to each groove. The hinge may be cast or formed by rolling and pressing.
