Abstract

249,252. Kershaw, E. Jan. 12, 1025. Connecting-rods.-A gudgeon-pin 7 is secured in the gudgeon-pin bosses by screws 9, 9<a>, which are slotted to engage a piston-ring located in a groove 10 in the piston. A projection 12 on the pin 9<a> engages a recess in the gudgeon-pin, an axial bore 14 being formed in the screw to permit the insertion of a punch.
