Abstract

166,005. Gillibrand, G. May 6, 1920. Joint pins. - A stenter-clip pin 1, employed to connect adjacent clip-members together so as to form a chain, has a flanged head 1<a> at one end and a transverse hole 2 at the other end. A screw 3 or other form of plug closes one end of the hole 2 and abuts against a spring 7, which also presses on a piston 6 provided with a stud 5. The piston is retained in the hole 2 by an annular flange 4, and the protruding stud 5 prevents the pin 1 from working out of its bearings.
