192,934. Binks, C., and Binks (1920), Ltd., C. Feb. 23, 1922. Spray carburettors.-The slow-running nozzle B is situated in the bottom of the air passage A directly beneath a hand-operated sliding throttle valve E, and the main nozzle C, which is situated on the air inlet side of the throttle valve, projects a substantial distance into the air passage. A hand-operated piston F, arranged vertically above the main nozzle, controls the passage of air through the carburettor. The main nozzle C may be of the single or multiple type, and two or more such nozzles, arranged in a plane transverse to the air passage, may be provided. In a modification, the air passage i.s lengthened, the main nozzle is situated near the air inlet end thereof, and the piston F is replaced by a hinged flap.
