Actuating by gas-engines.-The pumps, valves, and magneto of an internal-combustion engine are driven from two auxiliary shafts B, C actuated from the crank-shaft by a triangular connecting- rod D which may be built up of tubes. In an engine having two cylinders or two groups of cylinders, the auxiliary mechanism of one cylinder or one group of cylinders may be actuated by one of the shafts B, C and of the other cylinder or group of cylinders by the other shaft.
