Inductor - alternators; magnetos, driving. - The ignition devices of a three-cylinder two-stroke cycle internal - combustion engine, as described in Specification 112,430, [Class 7 (v), Internalcombustion engines, Starting &c.], have reciprocating armatures 99, Fig. 36, and are constructed to spark when a latch 98 on an operating- rod 97 is tripped by a fixed stop 100. The stops 100 are adjusted simultaneously to time the ignition by cam sectors 101, Fig. 39, pivoted to a rod 106 operated by hand levers.
