Abstract

4856. Pollock, M. M. Feb. 27. [Addition to 9311/11.] Razors.-In a holder for safety-razor blades of the kind described in the parent Specification, locking means are dispensed with, the two parts being held together by the pins and holes C, D and by the hand of the user. Instead of the pin and hole C, D in the handle, flanged or stepped parts may be provided on one part over which the other part fits. To ensure lightness and to facilitate the separation of the parts, spaces E, F, G are formed in the holder and a recess H is provided to facilitate the reversing of the blade. The device may be used as a razor when a blade is inserted therein.
