11,079. Herrschel, R. May 8. Razors.-The blade 5 of a razor, which may be used either as a safety, or ordinary, razor is held, together with a guard 6, on studs 7 on the polished and preferably reduced face of the plate 1 by the hinged clamping-plate 2, and is provided with a small head or grip 10 which enables it to be handled safely. The plate 2 has suitable openings for the studs 7 and head 10, and is secured to the plate 1 by a sliding catch 9 or the like. A guard 12, Fig. 7, for one edge may replace the ordinary guard when stropping or using the razor as an ordinary razor.
