Emergency-exit locks and fastenings.-In a lock for double doors comprising a pair of vertically-sliding bolts 18, 19 on one leaf and a latch bolt 1 and a lock bolt 2 on the other leaf, all the bolts may be withdrawn in case of emergency by depressing a lever handle 6 normally protected in any suitable manner. The lever 6 works a slide 8, which has inclined projections 10, 11 for operating the lock and latch bolts, a pin 9 on the slide releasing the lock lever 3. The slide is connected by a pin 14 to a lever 13 adapted to actuate a second lever 12 to project this through the casing into engagement with a lug 21 on the sliding bolt 19.
