Abstract

118,368. Lloyd, E. Nov. 8, 1917. Razors, safety. A holder for use in stropping double-edged safety razor blades, such as are provided with three holes, enabling both edges to be stropped without removal of the blade, consists of two metal plates hinged together at the end remote from the handle in which one of them is fixed. A ridge A is stamped along the length of one plate while in the other are stamped shorter ridges and two nipples B to engage the holes in the blade. The ridges form guides to give the correct angle for stropping. The movable plate is clamped to the other by a ferrule on the handle.
