173,199. Svenska Turbinfabriks Aktiebolaget Ljungstr÷m. Dec. 23, 1920, [Convention date]. Right to Patent relinquished. Gear-cutting-In order to avoid the uniform repetition of irregularities in gear-cutting or like machines, the rotary worktable 1 is driven by gearing, no toothed wheel of which is rigidly attached to the table. Pairs of pinions 3, 4 rotating together are journaled in the table and gear with separate driving-wheels 5, 6 rotating at different speeds. The wheels 5 and 6 are independently driven by means of worm wheels 7, 11 respectively; but in another form they are driven from a common shaft by separate trains of gearing.
