Heat distributors. - A heat-economizer of the kind adapted to heat several vessels from one burner consists of a shallow box having a bottom with a wide end and a narrow end and upstanding marginal walls 13, and a top plate 14 extending on all sides beyond the walls 13, the bottom having an inlet 17 at the wide end and the top an alined hole 19 and a second hole 16 at the narrow end. The narrow width at the end furthest from the burner is for the purpose or maintaining the heating effect on the vessel 21 uniform with that on the vessel 20 directly over the burner. The bottom is preferably of sheetmetal and the top of cast iron with flanges to engage the walls 13. Rings 18 are provided to adjust the size of the hole 19 and ribs 21a to allow exit of the gases from below the vessel 21.
