1379634 Seaming non-metallic sheet material JELTEK Ltd 8 Feb 1973 [4 Feb1972] 29549/74 Divided out of 1379633 Heading B5K The subject matter is similar to that described and shown in Figs. 1-3 of Specification 1,379,633 but the claims relate to making protective clothing from fabric by sewing fusible tape in a seam or seams so that the tape is disposed by confronting marginal face portions of the fabric and additionally overlies a marginal rear portion at the seam, making a first line of stitching spaced from the edges of the fabric to secure the tape so as to lie between the confronting marginal face portions of the fabric and so as to overlie one marginal rear portion of the fabric, turning one of the portions of fabric about the first line of stitching so as to overlie both free marginal edge portions, making a second line of stitching between the first line and the edges of the fabric to secure together the edge portions, the overlying fabric and the tape respectively therebetween, and fusing the tape to waterproof the seam.
