Abstract

1339200 Correcting settlement of the permanent way BETON-UND MONIERBAU AG 13 Aug 1971 [12 Sept 1970] 38091/71 Heading E1G A transverse cross-section of a permanent way includes two lower concrete wedges 4 each having an upper face 9 inclined downwardly to the outside of the track and which support an upper concrete slab 8 having a lower face inclined in opposite directions corresponding to the faces 9, the wedges being movable, e.g. on slide rails 5, transversely to the track to thereby adjust the height of the slab 8 and rails 11, 11'. The wedges may be moved by further wedges 30. The rails are received in recesses 14 provided with a resilient lining 15, 16 and may be anchored in a pre-stressed state by e.g. wedges 17 or a bolt and holder plate, Fig. 3 (not shown). Drainage ducts 13, 18 communicate with the faces 9.
