Abstract
1302761 Forming dies UTILUX PTY Ltd 5 Feb 1970 [5 Feb 1969] 5511/70 Heading B3Q [Also in Division H2] An anvil and ram 13, 15 (Fig. 4) are used to crimp a terminal connector 14 (see Division H2) to a pair of insulated conductors 16. Grooves in the pressure face of the ram 15 allow the formation of ridges 17 (Fig. 7) in the connector base 3 and so concentrate the crimping pressure in areas 18. This distorts the connector 14 helping to prevent withdrawal of conductors 16.
