Abstract

1,145,935. Two-part couplings. BURNDY CORP. 22 June, 1967 [28 June, 1966], No. 28804/67. Heading H2E. A pair of converging surfaces 36 on a plug contact 12 engage a pair of corresponding surfaces 26 in a socket contact 10, the plug having an inclined spring tongue 42 which, on insertion, is forced against the upwardly-inclined roof 28 of the socket. The rear part 18 of the socket is clamped around a battery terminal post, the plug being crimped to a lead wire at 32.
