123,488. Schweinert, M. C. March 28, 1918, [Convention date]. Tyre-valves.-A tyre-valve of the kind having a supplemental casing adapted to be held against a shoulder in the main casing bv a ring screwed on to the casing, has the supplemental part open at the top to facilitate the insertion of the valve mechanism. The upper part J is grooved at M to receive a conical packing L pressed against a corresponding surface in the casing by a nut Hengaging a flange T on the part J. The valve seat also has a conical packing P held in a conical part of the upper casing by a screwed member K. The upper part is further provided with an internal shoulder Q adapted to support a spring carrier R. In a modification, the supplemental casing is provided with a perforated extension fitted with an ordinary elastic sleeve valve.
