Abstract

1,180,045. Doll. PARKER INDUSTRIES Ltd. 10 Sept., 1968 [13 Sept., 1967], No. 41735/ 67. Heading A6S. [Also in Division B8] A doll has a hollow body 11 of rigid or flexible plastics formed into the ball parts of ball and socket joints 16 to attach a head 14 and arms 15. The hollow body 11 comprises the torso 12 and legs 13 of the doll and the foot portion has an extension 20 to form a tubular neck with a hole 21 at the lower end. The hole 21 is closed by a removable cap 22 which screws into the lower part of the extension. The extension is stepped so that the upper part is of the same diameter as the screw cap. A pedestal 23 into a bore 24 can then be fitted in to stand the doll upright. Alternatively the cap 22 and pedestal 23 can be combined to form a single member.
