Abstract

1422756 Two part couplings BENDIX CORP 27 Feb 1974 [27 Feb 1973] 8938/74 Headings H2E An electrical connector has an electrically insulating sleeve 30, which may be of plastics, on each of the plurality of female electrical sockets 10 extending from the front face 21 of an insulating body 2 being held on the socket by an annular rib 32 mating with an annular groove 12 on the socket. Each socket has an enlarged diameter 11 by which it is held in the body 2. Each sleeve has a male contact receiving portion 36 which tapers 35 to guide a male pin into the socket, the smallest diameter 31 may be such as to prevent larger diameter male contacts from entering the female socket.
