Multiple-delivery piston pumps; combined liquid and gas pumps; regulating delivery by throttle valves; delicery reservoirs; valves, arrangement of.-In apparatus for aerating liquids comprising two co-axial pumps a, b, the pistons of which are actuated by a crank-pin g on a rotary member h engaging a slotted cross-head e on the pistons, the level of the aerated liquid in the reservoir r controls the supply of liquid to the pumps, by means of a float adapted to actuate a valve v on the supply pipes. The liquid enters the pumps through valves w<1> and j and is delivered through a valve k to a reservoir r. The valves j, k, springs m, n, and casings o, p are interchangeable.
