Abstract

13,395. Barbas, L. June 22, 1908. Direct air-pressure apparatus, automatic.-A device for regulating the admission and exhaustion of compressed air to two water-forcing chambers comprises a piston 2, which controls the exhaust from one or other of the pipes 24, 25 leading to the chambers and also actuates the compressed-air admission valves 11, 12 by means of a toggle lever 18 and a cam 20 respectively. As soon as the liquid in either of the forcing-chambers falls below a certain level, a float-controlled valve admits compressed air to one or other of the pipes 24, 25, thus forcing- over the piston 2 and reversing the positions of the valves 11, 12.
