Abstract
A vapour phase dehydrogenation catalyst for C9-C16 paraffins to produce the corresponding olefines comprises copper molybdate on alumina. Temperatures of the process are exemplified as 350 DEG to 650 DEG C. for 0.1 to 10 secs. preferably in the presence of an inert gas such as steam or nitrogen.
