Abstract

L’invention concerne un coussin gonflable de sécurité pour conducteur de véhicule automobile prévu pour être logé dans sa configuration non déployé à l’intérieur du moyeu (5) du volant (3) dudit véhicule, ledit coussin gonflable comportant un sac gonflable replié (11) ainsi qu’un générateur de gaz pour assurer le gonflage et le déploiement dudit sac (11), ledit sac gonflable (11) comprenant au moins une première poche (111) apte à se déployer contre et à l’arrière dudit volant (3) ; caractérisé en ce que ledit sac gonflable (11) comprend également une seconde poche (112) apte à se déployer en périphérie externe de ladite première poche (111) entre cette dernière et le buste du conducteur, ladite seconde poche (112) présentant une pression de gonflage inférieure à celle de ladite première poche (111).
