Abstract

Coussin gonflable de sécurité latéral pour dossier de siège de véhicule automobile L’invention concerne un coussin gonflable de sécurité prévu pour être intégré dans la partie latérale externe du dossier (12) d’un premier siège latéral (10) situé dans l’habitacle d’un véhicule automobile en vis-à-vis de la garniture latérale correspondante dudit habitacle et comportant un sac gonflable replié (31) ainsi qu’un générateur de gaz pour assurer le gonflage et le déploiement dudit sac (31), ledit sac comprenant une chambre principale (311) apte à se déployer à l’avant et le long d’au moins une partie du dossier (12) dudit premier siège (10) entre ladite garniture latérale et le thorax de l’occupant (P1) de ce premier siège (10) ; caractérisé en ce que ledit sac gonflable (31) comprend également une chambre additionnelle (312) apte à se déployer à l’arrière du dossier (12) dudit premier siège (10) entre ladite garniture latérale et les jambes de l’occupant (P2) d’un second siège latéral (20) situé dans ledit habitacle à l’arrière dudit premier siège (10).
