Description

The present invention relates to a pipe unblocking device for mechanically opening any kind of obstructed pipe line. Already known in the state of the art, a pipe unblocking device of the type comprising a flexible rod. Such a flexible rod, usually called ferret, is intended to be inserted into a channel to open, in order to dislodge plug agglomerates. Such a flexible rod is usually difficult to handle, especially because of its length, lack of rigidity and / or elasticity. Thus, the handling of such a flexible rod generally requires two people, one of them pushing the flexible rod, and the other guiding this rod in the pipe. Another disadvantage of such a flexible rod is that it is usually difficult to store after use. The object of the invention is in particular to overcome these drawbacks by providing a simple mechanical draining device for use and that can be used by one person. For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a device for unclogging a pipe, of the type comprising a flexible rod intended to be inserted into a pipe to be unblocked, characterized in that it comprises: a drum for maneuvering the flexible rod , provided with a first crank, the flexible rod being intended to be wound around this drum, - a guide member of the flexible rod, through which the flexible rod passes, intended to guide the flexible rod in a direction of guide, a support member, carrying the drum and the guide member. Such an unclogging device can be operated by a single user simply and efficiently. Indeed, thanks to the operating drum, it is sufficient for the user to operate the first crank to push the flexible rod (unwinding this rod from around the drum) or to pull the flexible rod (by winding this rod around the drum ). Thanks to the guiding member, the rod is oriented in the guiding direction when the first crank is actuated. Thus, by actuating the first crank so as to wind or unwind the flexible rod, this flexible rod is driven in the guiding direction. The combination of the operating drum and the guide member therefore allows a single user to perform, by simple manipulation of the first crank, the thrust and guiding of the flexible rod in an obstructed conduit. An unclogging device preferably has one or more of the following features: The support member comprises a support trestle, and a support plate carrying the drum and the guiding member carried by the support trestle, and free to rotate relative to this trestle about an axis substantially parallel to the guide direction. Indeed, to facilitate the insertion of the flexible rod in an obstructed pipe, it is preferable to achieve this insertion by applying a rotational movement of the flexible rod about its axis. The support plate comprises a second crank for controlling the rotation of the plate about the axis. This second crank makes it possible to control in a simple and efficient manner the rotational movements of the flexible rod about its axis. The user can therefore, by manipulating the first and second cranks, to maneuver the flexible rod optimally. The operating drum comprises: a winding cylinder of the flexible rod, around which the flexible rod is intended to be wound, the cylinder having a notch for holding the flexible rod, in which one end of the flexible rod is intended for to be inserted, and side wheels, surrounding the cylinder and coaxial with the cylinder, carrying the first crank, and having a projection for holding the flexible rod, the flexible rod being intended to pass between the retaining projection and the cylinder. The notch and the retaining projection make it possible to simply and effectively maintain one end of the flexible rod on the operating drum. Note that the user can easily detach the flexible rod from the drum, for example to clean it. The guide member comprises a guide duct, through which the flexible rod passes, the guide duct preferably being rectilinear. - The guide member comprises a direction change member, arranged between the actuating drum and the guide duct, so as to orient the flexible rod unwound to the guide duct. The support trestle comprises branches with variable spacing, the height of the support plate depending on the spacing of the legs of the support trestle. Thus, the height of the platen can be chosen by the user according to the height of the pipe to be opened. Each branch is provided at its upper end with a hook for holding a cylindrical hub of the plate. This forms a reliable pivot connection between the plate and the trestle. The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of example and with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a top view of an unblocking device according to a 2 is a perspective view of the device of FIG. 1, to which the flexible rod has been removed, FIG. 3 is a perspective view of an operating drum of the device of FIG. Figure 1 is a perspective view of a support plate of the device of Figure 1.

FIGS. 1 to 4 show an uncapping device according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention. In these figures, the unblocking device is designated by the general reference 10. The unclogging device 10 comprises a flexible rod 12, also called ferret, intended to be inserted into a channel to open. The flexible rod 12 is a rod with turns, several meters long. The uncorking device 10 also comprises an operating drum 14 around which is wound the flexible rod 12, as shown in Figure 1. The operating drum 14 is shown in more detail in Figure 3. The maneuvering drum 14 comprises a winding cylinder 16 of the flexible rod 12, around which the flexible rod 12 is intended to be wound, and side wheels 18 integral with the winding cylinder 16 and coaxial with the winding cylinder. The lateral wheels 18 have the particular function of laterally holding the flexible rod 12 when it is wound around the winding cylinder 16.

One of the side wheels 18 comprises a first crank 20, allowing a user to easily control the rotation of the operating drum 14. Preferably, the first crank 20 is provided with a handling cylinder 22, free to rotate around the crank 20, to facilitate the handling of the first crank 20.

Preferably, the operating drum 14 comprises means 24 for holding an end of the flexible rod 12. These holding means 24 comprise, for example, a notch 26 for holding the flexible rod 12, in which the end of the flexible rod 12 is intended to be inserted, formed in the winding cylinder 16. The holding means 24 also comprise a projection 28 for holding, 5 arranged on a side wheel 18, the flexible rod 12 being intended to pass between this holding projection 28 and the winding cylinder 16. When the end of the flexible rod 12 is inserted into the holding groove 26 and passes between the holding projection 28 and the winding cylinder 16, this end is held on the operating drum 14 and can not escape impromptu. Note that these holding means 24 allow the user to easily detach the flexible rod 12 from the operating drum 14, for example to clean this flexible rod 12, simply by removing the end of the flexible rod 12 of the notch The operating drum 14 further comprises a hub 30, pierced with an orifice 32. The unclogging device 10 further comprises a support member 34, comprising a support trestle 36, and a support plate 38 The supporting plate 38, shown in greater detail in FIG. 4, is intended to carry the operating drum 14, as well as a member 40 for guiding the flexible rod 12, to guide the flexible rod 12 in a guide direction X. The support plate 38 thus comprises a rod 42, the end 44 is threaded. This rod 42 is intended to be inserted into the orifice 32 of the hub 30 of the operating drum 14. Thus, the operating drum 14 is free to rotate about this rod 34. It will be noted that the operating drum 14 must be held firmly on the support plate 38, so as not to be rotated by the simple elasticity of the flexible rod 12 when this flexible rod 12 is wound around the cylinder 16. For this purpose, a coil spring is provided thrust 46, arranged around the rod 42, and pushed against the drum 14 by means of a nut 48 inserted on the threaded end 44 of the rod 42. Preferably, the nut 48 is provided with fins 50 so as to be able to be screwed and unscrewed on the threaded end 44 without the need for tools. The guide member 40 comprises a guide duct 52, preferably straight in the X direction, having a through-orifice of circular cross-section, through which the flexible rod 12 passes. Thus, by passing through this duct 52, the flexible rod 12 is imposed the X direction at the outlet of this conduit, which allows to guide simply and effectively the flexible rod 12. The guide member 40 also comprises a member 54 for changing direction, arranged between the operating drum 14 and the guide duct 52, so as to guide the flexible rod 12 of the drum 14 towards the guide duct 52. The change-over member 54 comprises a rod 55 and a free cylinder 56 rotation around the rod 55, so as to allow the rolling of the flexible rod 12 on the rod 55 without friction, so as not to damage the flexible rod 12.

Note that the support plate 38, carried by the support trestle 36, is free to rotate relative to the trestle 36 about an axis substantially parallel to the guide direction X. In order to allow the user to manipulate the support plate 38 rotates, this support plate 38 has a second crank 58 for controlling the rotation of the plate 38 about the axis. Preferably, the second crank 58 is provided with a handling cylinder 60, free to rotate around the crank 58, in order to facilitate the handling of this second crank 58. So that the support plate 38 is mounted in a pivot connection on the trestle 36, this support plate 38 has, at each of its ends, a cylinder 62, 64 free to rotate about a corresponding hub of the support plate 38. For example, one of the cylinders 62 surrounds the conduit 52, and is free to rotate about this conduit 52, and the other cylinder 64 surrounds a connecting portion of the second crank 58 with the support plate 38. Each cylinder 62, 64 thus forms a cylindrical hub of the support plate 38, and is clamped between holding hooks 66, each holding hook 66 being arranged at the end of a leg 68 of the trestle. Since these hooks 66 extend the branches 68, these hooks 66 close around the cylinder 62, 64 corresponding when the branches 68 away from each other.

Son encombrement est donc réduit lorsqu'on le range après utilisation.35 It will be noted that the spacing of the branches 68 is variable, so that the height of the support plate 38 can be chosen as a function of the spacing of these branches 66. It will also be noted that the device 10 according to the invention is easily removable. Its size is reduced when stored after use.
