Abstract

Fibres cellulosiques à forte capacité de rétention à l'égard des fluides. Ces fibres alliées alcalines comprennent une matrice de cellulose régénérée et un additif dispersé dans ladite matrice et capable d'augmenter la capacité de rétention à l'égard des fluides de ladite fibre, la proportion d'additif étant d'environ 5 % à environ 30 % en poids par rapport à la cellulose et étant telle que la capacité de rétention à l'égard des fluides de ladite fibre est d'au moins 4,79 cm**3/g, la fibre ayant de préférence un fini lubrifiant à l'égard de la cellulose et étant caractérisée en ce que ledit additif est unique et constitué par un sel de métal alcalin de l'acide alginique. Fabrication de serviettes et tampons pour usage sanitaire.
