Abstract

Domestic fire warning apparatus comprises a thermostat (2) with a switch mechanism (20) which cuts off the power supply at an upper temperature limit, and switches it on at a lower temperature limit. The thermostat (2) is driven by a bimetallic spring disc (15) and a further spring disc (21). The apparatus also includes by a safety switch (3) mounted in series with the switch mechanism (20) driven by the bimetal disc to open the circuit above the upper temperature limit. The thermostat (2) and the safety switch (3) are mounted in a common box (1) and are joined together by an electric conductor (5).
