Abstract
The radiator has a fan driven by an electric motor (1) and a supply circuit with two circuits connected in parallel. The first circuit has a switch (23) which closes when the radiator reaches a first temperature, so that the motor is supplied with reduced voltage. The second circuit has a switch (9) which closes when the radiator reaches a second, higher temperature, so that the motor is supplied with normal voltage. A bimetal device (10) is provided in the supply circuit. This breaks the second circuit (13, 15) and connects (14, 19) an auxiliary alarm circuit (20-22) when excessive current flows through the motor whose rotation is stopped or impeded.
