Abstract

At least one of the supports is a ring segment made from a material possessing a low elasticity limit, e.g. mild steel. The segment has a flattened region for a borehole which receives one of the bolts and on the other side has a circular elongated rib. Each bolt has two shoulders against which the supports rest. Beyond the shoulders are bolt sections of narrower dia. which are designed for riveting. The diaphragm has a circumferential part with a plate spring for acting on a pressure plate and is used to press a coupling disc against an associated counter-pressure plate. The circumferential part has boreholes for bolts which have free play. The diaphragm has a central section divided into radial fingers.
