EL DISPOSITIVO LLEVA UNA CABEZA DE MEDICION QUE TIENE UNA BOBINA DE MEDICION (14) DESTINADA A RODEAR EL TUBO Y MEDIOS PARA ALIMENTAR LA BOBINA CON TENSION DE ALTA FRECUENCIA, SUPERIOR A 100 KHZ, Y PARA ANALIZAR LA IMPEDANCIA DE LA BOBINA.
