EL OBJETIVO DE LA PRESENTE INVENCION ES PREVENIR LA FORMACION DE IMPUREZAS TALES COMO CLORATOS DURANTE UNA ELECTROLISIS MEDIANTE LA UTILIZACION DE UN METODO DE MEMBRANAS DE INTERCAMBIO DE IONES, SIN TENER QUE RECURRIR A LA ADICION DE ACIDO HIDROCLORICO PARA CONTRARRESTAR LA MIGRACION DE HIDROXIDO ALCALINO DEL COMPARTIMIENTO CATODICO AL COMPARTIMIENTO ANODICO. EL METODO DE LA PRESENTE INVENCION CONSISTE EN ALIMENTAR UNA PORCION DE UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE UN CLORURO ALCALINO (COMO MATERIA PRIMA) EN UNA CELDA ELECTROLITICA AUXILIAR (1) DEL TIPO MEMBRANA DE INTERCAMBIO DE CATIONES (2) EN QUE EL ANODO (5) ES UN ELECTRODO GASEOSO DE HIDROGENO, TENIENDO ASI LUGAR LA ELECTROLISIS PARA GENERAR ACIDO CLORHIDRICO EN EL COMPARTIMIENTO ANODICO (3) Y ALIMENTAR DESPUES LA SOLUCION ACUOSA QUE CONTIENE ACIDO CLORHIDRICO DE CLORURO ALCALINO EN LA CELDA ELECTROLITICA PRINCIPAL (11), NEUTRALIZANDO ASI EL HIDROXIDO ALCALINO QUE MIGRA DEL COMPARTIMIENTO CATODICO (10).
