Definitions

  • the invention relates to a respiratory protection mask, in particular a respiratory protection half mask, for filtering the breathing air of a wearer.
  • the respiratory protection mask is used in particular in the field of occupational safety. Other areas of application are possible.
  • Respiratory protection masks are generally known from the prior art. In the case of respirator masks with outer mask baskets in particular, the problem repeatedly arises that the mask baskets are damaged during transport and/or storage, such as being dented. Large-volume packaging can reduce or prevent damage to the mask baskets, but require a lot of space for storage and transport. Respiratory protection masks of this type have been sold by the applicant in various designs for some time.
  • the DE 699 21 660 T2 discloses a foldable respirator with an exhalation valve having an opening that facilitates exhaled air to escape from a mask interior.
  • An exhalation filter element is located on the mask in the exhalation stream.
  • a disadvantage of this known breathing mask is that its inhalation and exhalation resistance is comparatively large.
  • a half-mask dust mask comprising a rigid wall which may be made of a non-woven fabric.
  • a valve which may be a one-way or two-way valve, is arranged in a central portion of the wall.
  • a folded edge can extend around the central area.
  • a device for collecting water vapor which may comprise a filter membrane covering the central area and delimiting an additional chamber. This filter membrane can be made of fabric and is designed to be deformable, for example.
  • U.S. 2,378,929 A describes a respirator that includes a rigid main frame and a filter element attached thereto. Fold lines are formed in the filter element, so that it is designed as a bellows and can be folded together. An exhalation valve is arranged at the front of the filter element.
  • a filter mask which comprises a mask body on which two air inlet devices and one air outlet device are arranged on the outside.
  • Each air intake device has a filter element.
  • the air outlet device can have a one-way valve.
  • the object of the invention is to overcome the problems of the prior art.
  • a respiratory protection mask should be provided which on the one hand is particularly easy to transport or store and on the other hand is extremely user-friendly.
  • the respirator should also have a particularly advantageous volume-to-surface ratio, resulting in a very efficiently designed respirator.
  • the core of the invention lies in the at least one folding arrangement arranged upstream of the at least one inhalation valve arrangement.
  • the respiratory protection mask In the functional or wearing position of the at least one folding arrangement, the respiratory protection mask has an extremely large surface or filter area, which results in a particularly functionally reliable and powerful respiratory protection mask.
  • the respirator mask In contrast, in the folded transport or storage position, the respirator mask has a particularly small volume, which has an advantageous effect on storage and transport.
  • the packing density is very good. Comparatively small packages are sufficient for the respiratory protection mask in the transport position of the at least one folding arrangement, which is sustainable. It is advantageous if the at least one folding arrangement is symmetrical with respect to at least one plane of symmetry. It is preferably non-detachably connected to the mask base body.
  • the at least one inhalation valve arrangement results in a respirator that has a particularly low inhalation resistance.
  • It is preferably designed as a one-way valve arrangement.
  • Such a respiratory protection mask offers a wearer a very high level of wearing comfort. It allows easy natural inhalation.
  • the mask base body can preferably be transferred, in particular foldable, between a three-dimensional wearing position and a flat transport position.
  • the filter material of the at least one folded arrangement is favorably air-permeable.
  • it is a fleece material.
  • a composite material can also be used as a filter material.
  • the filter material preferably allows breathing directly through it. It filters the breathing air and is preferably particle-filtering.
  • the inhalation resistance can preferably be controlled or influenced by the filter material, such as its surface, permeability or the like. It is expedient if the at least one folding arrangement is as large as possible in the unfolded functional position or has as large a surface as possible.
  • the at least one fixing means is, for example, a cord, a band, a hood or the like. It is preferably formed from an elastic material such as rubber.
  • respirator mask is designed symmetrically.
  • the mask base body is preferably formed from a filter material, in particular an air-permeable one, such as a fleece material.
  • a composite material can also be used as a filter material.
  • the filter material preferably allows breathing directly through it. It filters the breathing air and is preferably particle-filtering.
  • the filter material of the mask body differs, for example, from the filter material of the at least one folding arrangement. Alternatively, the filter material of the mask body and the at least one folding arrangement are identical.
  • the configuration according to dependent claim 3 leads again to a particularly large surface or filter area of the respirator when the at least one folding arrangement is unfolded.
  • the at least one folding arrangement preferably has opposing walls or wall regions, which are then arranged or run at a distance from one another at least in regions, forming the at least one interior space.
  • the at least one interior space is, for example, at least partially angular in cross section perpendicular to its height, such as triangular, quadrangular, pentagonal or the like. It is, for example, rectangular or trapezoidal in cross-section perpendicular to its height, at least in some areas. Corner areas are rounded, for example. Walls or wall areas are curved, for example.
  • the at least one interior space is at least partially circular, oval, elliptical or the like, for example in cross section perpendicular to its height. Combinations are possible.
  • the at least one folding arrangement then has a corresponding contour.
  • the at least one folding line according to dependent claim 5 preferably allows the at least one folding arrangement to be brought into its functional position and/or transport position in a particularly simple and reliable manner. It preferably also enables a secure movement or transfer of the at least one folding arrangement between its functional position and transport position. It is expedient if the at least one fold line has at least one straight and/or curved section. It preferably forms a predetermined bending point.
  • the embodiment according to dependent claim 6 leads to a respiratory protection mask which has a particularly large surface or filter area in the functional position of the at least one folding arrangement and/or an extremely small volume in the transport position of the at least one folding arrangement, which is efficient. It is expedient if the at least one folding arrangement has between one and five, preferably between two and four, folding lines. It is expedient if fold lines extend at different heights or levels, at least in the functional position of the respective folding arrangement, and thus preferably have different distances from the mask base body.
  • the at least one fold line according to dependent claim 7 enables the at least one folding arrangement to be folded in and out in a particularly uniform manner. Conveniently, it is endless.
  • An embodiment according to dependent claim 8 again allows a particularly simple and functionally reliable folding and/or unfolding of the at least one folding arrangement.
  • the at least one folding arrangement In the region of the at least one fold line, the at least one folding arrangement has a reduced thickness, for example at least in regions.
  • the at least one folding arrangement is not stiffened there, or is stiffened to a lesser extent, in particular thermally, at least in regions.
  • the bellows according to dependent claim 9 in its functional position, moves towards its ceiling or outwards, i.e. in its height, in particular in its longitudinal direction and/or transverse direction, tapers. If the bellows in the functional position has fold lines at different heights or levels, their overall length preferably decreases with increasing distance to a foot or bottom of this bellows or outwards. These fold lines or sections thereof preferably extend parallel to one another, at least in certain areas.
  • the respirator according to dependent claim 10 is able, for example, to force or move, in particular to press, the at least one folding arrangement into its functional position.
  • the at least one fold-out body according to dependent claim 11 is formed, for example, from foam, rubber or the like.
  • it is associated with the at least one folding arrangement in the compressed state and is capable of unfolding the at least one folding arrangement when it is decompressed.
  • at least one fold-out body is arranged in a respective folding arrangement. The decompression can be done, for example, by unpacking the respirator or triggered manually.
  • the at least one spring body according to dependent claim 12 is made of plastic, metal or the like, for example.
  • it is like a clasp.
  • it is associated with the at least one folding arrangement in the deformed state and is capable of unfolding the at least one folding arrangement when it is demolded or returned to its original state.
  • at least one spring body is arranged in a folding arrangement in each case.
  • the demolding can, for example by unpacking the respiratory protection mask or triggered separately manually.
  • the configuration according to dependent claim 13 enables the at least one folding arrangement to be held securely or stably in its functional position. Unintentional folding in or out of the at least one folding arrangement is made more difficult or can be prevented in this way.
  • the at least one unfolding device and unfolding holding device are identical, for example. Alternatively, these are, for example, separate devices.
  • the at least one exhalation valve arrangement according to dependent claim 14 allows particularly easy exhalation, which is particularly user-friendly and is perceived as natural. It is designed, for example, as a one-way valve arrangement.
  • the at least one inhalation valve arrangement and/or exhalation valve arrangement is/are at least partially replaceable or removable, for example by unscrewing, pulling off, releasing a snap-in connection, releasing a plug-in connection or the like. This is particularly sustainable.
