- the fastening area corresponds to a partial surface of the sealing element which is connected to a surface of the at least one profile element.
- the fastening area is connected flat to the profile element, i.e. the partial surface is essentially completely fastened to the profile element.
- the fastening region can be a coherent surface, but it can also comprise a plurality of partial surfaces of the sealing element. If a plurality of sealing elements are used, each of the plurality of sealing elements can have a fastening area.
- the fastening area can be rectangular, round or in some other suitable shape. From the point of view of the profile element, the fastening area is the area that is in flat connection with the sealing element.
- the non-installed state is a state in which the profile system is in a factory delivery arrangement, ie the sealing element is already attached to the profile element, but it is neither in a sealing state nor in an installation location such as a wall. and / or floor area.
- the sealing element is therefore only connected to the profile element via the fastening surface in the non-installed state. The remaining unattached area of the sealing element can therefore be loose.
- the sealing element is attached to the profile element according to the invention. This is done using a fastener.
- the fastening means can also be a plurality of fastening means.
- the fastening means can have an adhesive, a screw and / or other means suitable for attaching the fastening surface to the profile element.
- the sealant can also be molded on. The sealant is preferably glued to the profile element.

- the fastening area is advantageously designed at least so large that an area to be sealed that adjoins the profile element (e.g. a joint underneath) is securely sealed.
- the sealing element has at least one area overlapping the profile element, the overlap area being designed to fix the profile element in its installed position.
- the area of the sealing element can be smaller than the area of the profile element opposite the sealing element and at the same time have an overlap area.
- the overlap area can partially overlap the profile element, i.e. the sealing element only partially overlaps the surface of the profile element opposite the sealing element.
- the overlap area can project completely beyond the edge of a surface of the profile element to be fastened.
- the overlap area can overlap the profile element at different points.
- the overlap area corresponds to a surface that is sufficiently large to be able to reliably fasten the profile element to a wall or a floor without further mounting devices. When not installed, the flat overlap area is flexible, loose or movable.
- the profile system according to the invention advantageously also has overlap areas which serve for flexible fastening of the profile element to the wall or floor.
- the mounting area can be smaller than the surface of the profile element opposite the fastening area. This means that sections of the sealant are neither attached nor do they overlap the profile element.
- the profile element can therefore advantageously be cut to a required length.
- the profile system according to the invention also enables a variable adjustment of the height of the profile element during assembly.
- a sealant such as a sealing film.
- the profile system according to the invention is primarily intended for a sanitary facility, such as a floor-level shower, but it should in no way be restricted to this application.
- the profile system according to the invention is intended for any application in which profiles with seals are used.
- the installation position of the profile element can be variably adjusted in the vertical and / or horizontal by the overlap area.
- Installation position is understood to mean that position in which the profile element is loosely arranged on a floor, wall and / or ceiling surface, i.e. in which the profile system is not yet fixed.
- the overlap area is advantageously at least so large that this area is sufficient to keep the profile element stable in a certain position in the installed state.
- the overlap area extends on at least two opposite sides of the fastening area in the form of two partial overlap areas which are provided for mounting the profile element on at least one wall, ceiling and / or floor surface, and / or a covering connected in each case.
- the two partial overlap areas act as fixation devices, that is, when the profile system is in the installation position, the partial overlap areas are somewhat attached to a wall, ceiling and / or floor surface by means of tiles and / or tile adhesive in order to keep the profile element attached to the attachment area stable.
- Corresponding the partial overlap areas are dimensioned sufficiently to hold the weight of the profile element securely, ie tilting or twisting of the profile element is not possible.
- the profile element and / or the sealing element can be cut to size.
- the profile element In the non-installed state, the profile element can only be partially covered in its longitudinal direction by the sealing element.
- the profile element can have an end section to which the sealing element is not fastened.
- the profile element can also have both end sections without a sealant attached to it.
- the profile element can be individually shortened according to a customer request using a saw or another cutting tool in the section area where there is no adhesive sealing film. In this way, the profile element can be optimally adapted to a tile or floor slab format or a joint grid in the area of sanitary facilities.
- the profile element is preferably not covered with the sealing element at its longitudinal ends. The profile element can thus advantageously be cut at both ends. This enables the profile element length to be individually adapted to the structural conditions at the installation site.
- the profile element which can be cut to size can also have at least one profile end piece which can be detachably connected to an open end of the profile element.
- the profile element can have two open ends, each of which is shut off in a liquid-tight manner by means of a profile end piece.

- the collecting profile is provided in a U-shape with a base, a rear wall and an upper base.
- the collective profile can also have a different cross-sectional profile design (e.g. a C-profile or L-profile).
- the collecting profile can also have a collecting profile end piece for lateral sealing at its longitudinal ends. Apart from the inlet opening and the outlet opening, the collecting profile can thus be designed to be closed.
- the inlet opening is provided on the side facing away from the rear wall. Accordingly, the opening can lie opposite the rear wall, ie it can be a side inlet opening.
- the opening can extend over the entire height of the U-shaped profile.
- the opening can be opened by another Leg extending vertically from the end of the floor opposite the rear wall over a height which is less than the total height of the U-shaped profile, can be reduced. This additional leg can extend to a height which corresponds to a floor covering level in the installation position of the profile system, so that the water inlet into the inlet opening is ensured.
- the outlet opening is formed in the floor.
- the outlet opening can be designed as a round, angular or other suitable shape, which allows the water that is located in the collecting profile to be drained into a siphon or the like.
- the collecting profile is provided in a U-shape with a base, a rear wall and an upper base, the opening is provided on the side facing away from the rear wall and the outlet opening is formed in the base.
- an inwardly inclined run-in slope extends along the floor in the direction of the side facing away from the rear wall.
- the inlet slope and the collecting profile can be formed in one piece.
- the inlet slope and the collecting profile can be detachably connected to one another.
- the entry slope can be made of the same material as the collection profile.
- the inlet slope can have a slope that points in the direction of the outlet opening. At its highest point, the inlet slope, when installed, may have a maximum surface level of the shower base.
- the inlet slope can also be designed without a slope, that is to say horizontally in the installed state.
- the inlet slope has at least one drainage channel.
- the at least one drainage channel extends through the inlet slope with a slope towards the outlet opening.
- the drainage channel is designed to guide water to the drain which, when installed, accumulates between the front surface of the inlet slope and the floor covering.
- the inlet slope preferably has a multiplicity of drainage channels.
- the fastening area is connected flat to the rear wall and the bottom of the collecting profile, the fastening area partially covering the rear wall and the floor.
- a partial region of the sealing element which extends from the fastening region, is not connected to the bottom and the rear wall of the profile element.
- the fastening region is preferably arranged in such a way that the profile element has end sections to which the sealing element is not connected. The profile element can advantageously be cut at these end sections.
- the inlet opening of the collecting profile is configured to form a gap in the installed position as a water drain between a wall covering, in particular tiles, and a floor covering, in particular tiles.
- the gap preferably has a height which is sufficiently large that the collecting profile can be cleaned in the assembled state with the shower head shower.
- the gap is preferably designed such that no small parts or body parts such as toes can penetrate.
- a siphon can be configured with the profile system according to the invention.
- the siphon can be a drain system through which waste water or shower water can pass.
- the siphon can be connected to the profile at the factory.
- a film is preferably firmly connected between the siphon and the profile.
- the siphon is preferably a flow-optimized, self-cleaning siphon. When using a self-cleaning siphon, the inlet opening of the profile system can advantageously be made very narrow.
- a shower element can be designed with the profile system according to the invention.
- the profile element is designed as a decorative strip for a shower with a slope.
- the trim strip can also be designed as a gradient wedge.
- the decorative strip can be designed to visually embellish a difference in height of floor tiles.
- the height difference can be a step. It can also be a difference in height, which is caused by a gradient of a floor-level shower compared to the floor next to the shower.
- the trim and the gradient wedge can be formed as a flat elongated profile.
- the Overlap area of the sealing element can be attached to the higher floor area and to the lower floor area.
- the trim or slope wedge is arranged parallel to the step, the upper end being substantially flush with the surface of the upper floor tile.
- the lower floor tile is then placed on the overlap area and assembled or fastened.
- the mounting area extends on a lower portion of a side molding. This advantageously enables the trim or the gradient wedge to be stable and easy to fix in spite of the difference in height due to the overlap area.
- the profile element is provided as an L-profile.
- the L-profile preferably has a right angle in cross section.
- the L-profile can also have other angles.
- the L-profile can serve as a support profile or as an end profile.
- the profile element can also be designed as a T-profile and serve as a support profile or end profile.
- the L-profile has a bottom and a leg, and the fastening area is connected on the bottom underside, the area of the bottom underside being larger than the fastening area.
- the L-profile can be attached to a wall or a floor with its floor and the associated fastening area.
- the L-profile can advantageously be cut to size, since end sections are not connected to the sealing element.
- a clamping profile in addition to the L-profile in the installation position, can also be attached, in particular to accommodate a shower wall.
- the L-profile is suitable for picking up flat objects and holding them in place with a clamping effect.
- the clamping profile can have a U-shaped cross section, which serves as a receptacle.
- the clamping profile can be attached to the sealing element when the L-profile is installed, ie the overlapping areas of the profile system are already glued to a wall or floor. Also, the clamping profile can only be attached after the floor or wall covering has already been attached. In the latter application, the leg of the L-profile has one Length that exceeds the thickness of the floor or wall covering.
- the L-profile can run through a tile joint or be arranged on a wall.
- the wall covering can hit the profile. It is thus possible to attach the clamping profile over the covering.
- the clamping profile is preferably connected to the leg of the L-profile. The clamping profile can be screwed to the leg.
- the attached clamping profile has at least one elastic clamping area and can be variably adjusted in the horizontal. Any means that is designed to be resilient or easily bendable is suitable as an elastic clamping area. By accommodating an object in the clamping area, this flexible and / or resilient means is moved to the side. At the same time, a restoring force exerts a holding force on the object.
- the clamping profile can also be individually adjusted perpendicular to the wall surface or the floor surface. This depth adjustment can be done by moving the clamping profile along the leg.
- a height-adjustable baffle profile can also be attached to the L-profile in the installation position.
- the profile element is provided as a U-profile, for receiving glass, decorative elements and / or panels.
- the profile element is provided as a magnetic strip, which can be connected to a magnetic profile, which is provided for closing, in particular, a shower door.
- All embodiments of the profile element can very well seal an adjacent wall, ceiling or floor area by fastening with the sealing element while having a loose overlap area.
- joint areas can also be sealed behind the sealing element.
- the position designations used in the following such as top, bottom, front, back, right and left, refer to a profile system according to the invention arranged in front of him in the installation position.
- the structure of the profile system according to the invention is initially based on the Figures 1 to 4 explained for a first embodiment.
- the Figures 1 and 2nd show the first embodiment of the profile system according to the invention in a non-installed state, whereas the Figure 3 the first embodiment in a partially installed state and Figure 4 show the first embodiment of the profile system according to the invention in an installation position or in an installed state.
- the profile system 1 of the first embodiment comprises a collecting profile 3 and a sealing element 5, which are fastened together.
- the collective profile 3 is a collective profile for shower water.
- the collecting profile 3 is intended for installation in a wall or on a wall.
- the collecting profile 3 is U-shaped and has a base 7, a rear wall 9 and an upper base 11. Furthermore, an inlet slope 13 extends in one piece with the U-profile 13 along the bottom 7 in the direction of the side facing away from the rear wall 9. The inlet slope has a slope to the bottom 7 of the collecting profile 3. The bottom 7 thus forms a gutter. Between the floating edge of the top floor 11 and the inlet slope 13 there is a lateral opening 14 or a gap through which water can flow from a shower base via the inlet slope 13 to the floor 7 of the collecting profile 3.
- the bottom 7 also has an outlet opening 15 through which water can flow, for example, into a siphon.
- the outlet opening 15 is slit-shaped and arranged in the center of the collecting profile 3.
- the floor 7 can have a slope towards the outlet opening 15 in order to improve the water drainage. Through the outlet opening 15, water is drained into a drain or a siphon (as in Fig. 4 shown).
- the collecting profile 3 also has three drainage channels 17 in the area of the inlet slope 13, which open into the outlet opening 15 above the film 5.
- the drainage channels which extend through the continuous inlet slope, serve as secondary drainage if water gets into the area between the inlet slope 13 and a covering such as tiles (see also Fig. 4 ).
- the cutable collecting profile 3 can also have at least one profile end piece (not shown) which can be detachably connected to an open end of the collecting profile 3.
- the collecting profile 3 can have two open ends, each of which is shut off in a liquid-tight manner by means of a profile end piece.
- the profile end pieces or end caps are preferably used after cutting the collecting profile 3 to the installation length.
- the sealing element 5 is flat and flexible in the form of a film or the like.
- the film has a fastening area 19. This area is used to fasten the film to the collecting profile 3.
- the film can be glued to the collecting profile 3 in the fastening area 19 or otherwise fastened.
- the collecting profile 3 can have an area that contains a fastening means, such as an adhesive, whereby the collecting profile 3 is glued to the sealing means 5 at the factory.
- the fastening area 19, ie the area of the film which is glued to the collecting profile 3, extends over the bottom 7 and the rear wall 11 of the collecting profile 3.
- the fastening area 19 does not extend over the entire length of the collecting profile 3.
- the collecting profile thus has 3 at both ends of the bottom 7 and the rear wall 9 each have a section which is not connected or glued to the film, but is overlapped by the film.
- the sealing element 5 of the first embodiment overlaps the bottom 7 and the rear wall 9 of the collecting profile 3 in the longitudinal and transverse directions thereof. This is particularly evident from the Figures 1 and 2nd forth.
- Fig. 2 shows the profile system, which consists of collecting profile 3 and the sealing element 5, wherein the collecting profile is shown in a top view through the top floor 11 with the outlet opening 15 and the inlet slope 13.
- the sealing element 5 is divided into the fastening area 19 and an overlap area 21.
- the fastening area does not extend over the entire length of the collecting profile 3.
- the overlap area 21 of the film is movable and loose when not installed. Due to the length of the fastening area 19 being less than the length of the collecting profile, the entire area of the movable overlapping area 21 does not overlap the collecting profile 3.
- the overlapping area 21 is designed in such a way that at least part of the overlapping area 21 overlaps one side of the collecting profile 3 if the overlap area 21 abuts the rear wall 9.
- the total length of the sealing element 5 is greater than the total length of the collecting profile 3, which is why there is an overlap.
- the overall width of the sealing element 5 is also greater than the width of the collecting profile 3.
- the overlap region 21 can be folded away, which enables the collecting profile 3 to be cut to a certain length (the vertical dashed lines in FIG Fig. 2 are examples of cut markings).
- the collecting profile 3 can be shortened at both ends, so that a precise length of the collecting profile 3 can be used in a shower.
- the film can also be cut accordingly.
- Fig. 3 shows the first embodiment of the profile system, in which the collecting profile 3 is arranged on a wall surface 23.
- the rear wall 11 of the collecting profile 3 is located parallel to the wall surface on the wall 23.
- the overlap area 21 is applied or sealed to the wall surface via an existing sealing film 25.
- the bottom 7 of the collecting profile 3 is parallel to a bottom surface 27. The corresponding part of the overlap region 21 is placed on the bottom surface 27.
- the collecting profile 3 can be flexibly positioned vertically in this arrangement. For example, it is possible to adjust the height of the collecting profile 3 when the profile system 1 is already in the installation position. This has the advantage that the profile system 1 with its inlet slope 13 can be easily adapted to the existing floor covering level.
- the concrete arrangement of the collecting profile 3 in the vertical can be effected by vertically shifting the overlap area 21.
- the film can be moved in an adhesive that is located on the floor / wall for fastening with a floor covering / wall covering in order to achieve an alignment of the profile system.
- Fig. 4 now shows the first embodiment of the profile system 1 in the installed position or in the assembled state.
- the collecting profile 3 of the first embodiment is in a wall installation position, ie the U-shaped part of the collecting profile 3 is essentially below a wall covering 29.
- the floor 7 runs parallel to the floor surface, the rear wall 9 parallel to the wall surface 23 and the top floor 11 parallel to a side surface of the wall covering 29.
- the wall covering 29 is attached to the wall surface 23 on the overlap area 21 in the form of tiles.
- the overlap area is thus at least partially attached by the tile adhesive.
- the upper surface of the top floor 11 is adjacent to the side surface of the wall covering 29.
- the top floor has a width so that it is approximately flush with the wall covering surface 29.
- the flat overlap region 21 and the fastening region 19 which is attached to the profile element 3 at the factory achieve a sealing and reliable fastening of the profile element 3 at the same time.
- the inlet slope 13 extends from the floor 7 to a floor covering 31. Water which is on the floor covering 31 can thus flow into the collecting profile 3 via the slope of the inlet slope 13.
- the floor covering 31 can have a slope in the direction of the inlet slope 13 so that a better drainage of the water is ensured. Water that collects between the inlet slope 13 and the floor covering 31 due to a leak or a material defect is drained off to the siphon 33 via the drainage channels 17.
- the floor covering 31 is attached to the floor surface 27 above the overlap area 21 in the form of tiles.
- the overlap region 21 is in any case partially firmly enclosed between the floor 31 or wall covering 29 and the floor 27 or wall surface 23 and thus fixed.
- the fixation is achieved by partially gluing the overlap area 21 with tile adhesive and by pressing the overlap area 21 by the weight of the covering against the respective wall or floor surface.
- a siphon 33 is shown, which is connected to the profile system.
- the siphon 33 can be firmly connected to the profile system at the factory with a film in between.
- the siphon 33 can also connect loosely to the profile system.
- the outlet opening 15 in the collecting profile 3 serves to allow water to be drained off or flows into a drain pipe of the siphon 33.
- the film surrounds the outlet opening 15 all around, since it is firmly glued so that there is a continuous film seal behind / under / next to the collecting profile 3.
- Figure 5 shows a second embodiment of the profile system according to the invention in the non-installed state
- Figure 6 shows the second embodiment of the profile system in the installed position or in the installed state.
- the profile system 35 of the second embodiment comprises a decorative strip 41 or a gradient wedge and a sealing element 37, which are fastened together.
- the sealing element 37 is flat and flexible in the form of a film or the like.
- the film has a fastening area 39. This area serves to fasten the film with the decorative strip 41.
- the film is glued to the decorative strip 41 in the fastening area 39 or fastened in some other way.
- the decorative strip 41 can have an area which contains a fastening means, such as adhesive, as a result of which the decorative strip 41 is glued to the sealing element 37.
- the attachment area 39 i.e. the area of the film which is glued to the decorative strip 41 extends at least partially over a side face of the decorative strip 41.
- the fastening region 39 does not extend over the entire length of the decorative strip 41.
- the decorative strip 41 thus has a section at both ends that is not connected or glued to the film.
- the sealing element 37 of the second embodiment overlaps the decorative strip 41 in the longitudinal and transverse directions.
- Fig. 5 shows the profile system 35 consisting of decorative strip 41 and the sealing element 37, the decorative strip 41 being shown in a plan view.
- the sealing element 37 is divided into the fastening area 39 and an overlap area 43.
- the fastening area 39 does not extend over the entire length of the decorative strip 41.
- the overlap area 43 of the film is movable in the non-installed state. Due to the length of the fastening area 39 being less than the length of the trim strip, the entire area of the movable overlap area 43 does not overlap the trim strip 41.
- the overlap area 43 is shaped such that at least a part of the overlap area 43 overlaps one side of the trim strip 41 when the overlap region 43 abuts the side wall of the decorative strip 41.
- the total length of the sealing element 37 is greater than the total length of the decorative strip 41, which is why there is an overlap.
- the overlap area 43 can be folded away, which enables the trim 41 to be cut to a certain length (the horizontal dashed lines in FIG Fig. 5 are examples of cut markings).
- the decorative strip 41 can be shortened at both ends, so that a precise length of the decorative strip 41 can be made for use in a shower.
- the film can also be cut accordingly.
- Fig. 6 shows an installed state of the second embodiment of the profile system 35.
- the decorative strip 41 is installed in a shower with a slope.
- the floor covering 49 has a slope. This creates a height offset compared to the floor covering 51 next to the shower area.
- the floor covering 49, 51 can be provided in the form of tiles.
- the gradient in the floor 45 creates a difference in height compared to the floor 47 within the shower area. As the slope in the floor 45 continues, the difference in height relative to the floor 47 increases.
- the floor 45 is the floor in the shower area, whereas the floor 47 is the floor next to the shower.
- the decorative strip 41 has a wedge-shaped shape which essentially corresponds to the vertical surface of the height offset. In the installed state, the decorative strip 41 is arranged parallel to the vertical surface.
- the overlap area 43 is located between the respective floor covering 49, 51 and the respective floor 45, 47. Before the floor covering 49, 51 is attached to the floor 45, 47, the height of the decorative strip 41 can be varied by gluing the overlap area 43 to different heights be.

Description
The invention relates to a profile system consisting of at least one profile element and at least one sealing element for a sanitary facility, such as a floor-level shower.
In general, profile systems for sanitary facilities in different designs are known and can be designed for different tasks. For example, profile systems for use as a shower channel arrangement are known. Profile systems for the clamped storage of panes, such as a shower wall, in the area of wet rooms are also known. In addition, profiles for receiving wall cladding panels or decorative profiles, such as a gradient wedge for sanitary installations, are known.
It is also known to bring profile systems for sanitary facilities into an installation position in such a way that they are watertight.

It is thus known to seal profile systems in that a profile, such as a drainage channel, is attached to a sealing strip or the like during assembly. However, the known measures for sealing profile systems are cumbersome and inflexible to use, since, among other things, several steps are required, namely the application of a sealing material at the installation site and the mounting of the profile. Furthermore, the known systems require complex structural designs in order to be able to reliably fasten the profile. Finally, it is difficult or even impossible to adapt the profile to the surrounding wall and / or floor coverings in sanitary facilities.
Against this background, the object of the invention is to provide a profile system which at least partially overcomes the above disadvantages.
This object is achieved by the subject matter of
The profile element can be made of any material that is suitable for forming a specific profile shape. The profile element can be a metal profile, such as stainless steel, and is preferably made of aluminum, since aluminum is light in weight, can be shaped very well and at the same time has sufficient dimensional stability. The profile element can partially consist of aluminum or an aluminum alloy. However, any other material that has good formability and low weight can also be used. An extruded or extruded plastic profile can also be used as the profile element.
In addition to the at least one profile element, the profile system also comprises at least one flat and flexible sealing element for sealing between the profile element and a wall and / or floor area adjacent to the profile element. The sealing element can be a film, a tape, a membrane or another flat configuration. The sealing element can be rectangular, round or in some other flat shape. The sealing element can be a waterproof sealing film, which can consist of different plastics. The sealing element can have rubber-like material such as rubber or silicone. The sealing element can also consist of a soft plastic. The sealing element can be made of any material that is impermeable to water and thus for sealing suitable is. The sealing element can be made of any material that has a sealing effect and at the same time has a tensile strength that is sufficient to safely carry the weight of a profile element. The sealing element can comprise a multiplicity of sealing film pieces. The sealing element can have a fleece-like coating for better adhesion of further sealants or adhesives. The sealant can be a polyethylene film with polypropylene nonwoven thereon.
The sealing element of the profile system according to the invention is not only suitable for sealing between the profile element and an adjacent wall and / or floor area. The sealing element can also be designed to seal any points below, next to and / or above a profile element.
The sealing element of the profile system according to the invention also has a fastening area which is fastened to the profile element in a non-installed state by a fastening means. The fastening area corresponds to a partial surface of the sealing element which is connected to a surface of the at least one profile element. In some embodiments, the fastening area is connected flat to the profile element, i.e. the partial surface is essentially completely fastened to the profile element. The fastening region can be a coherent surface, but it can also comprise a plurality of partial surfaces of the sealing element. If a plurality of sealing elements are used, each of the plurality of sealing elements can have a fastening area. The fastening area can be rectangular, round or in some other suitable shape. From the point of view of the profile element, the fastening area is the area that is in flat connection with the sealing element.
The non-installed state is a state in which the profile system is in a factory delivery arrangement, ie the sealing element is already attached to the profile element, but it is neither in a sealing state nor in an installation location such as a wall. and / or floor area. The sealing element is therefore only connected to the profile element via the fastening surface in the non-installed state. The remaining unattached area of the sealing element can therefore be loose.
The sealing element is attached to the profile element according to the invention. This is done using a fastener. The fastening means can also be a plurality of fastening means. The fastening means can have an adhesive, a screw and / or other means suitable for attaching the fastening surface to the profile element. The sealant can also be molded on. The sealant is preferably glued to the profile element. Likewise, the profile element can have an adhesive layer to which the sealant is glued or adhered. The fastening area is then defined by the places where the sealant is connected to the profile element. The sealant can also be glued and additionally screwed. The fastening area is advantageously designed so large that the profile element cannot detach itself from the fastening area without external influence even in the vertical position of the sealing means. At the same time, the fastening area is advantageously designed at least so large that an area to be sealed that adjoins the profile element (e.g. a joint underneath) is securely sealed.
According to the invention, the sealing element has at least one area overlapping the profile element, the overlap area being designed to fix the profile element in its installed position. The area of the sealing element can be smaller than the area of the profile element opposite the sealing element and at the same time have an overlap area. The overlap area can partially overlap the profile element, i.e. the sealing element only partially overlaps the surface of the profile element opposite the sealing element. The overlap area can project completely beyond the edge of a surface of the profile element to be fastened. The overlap area can overlap the profile element at different points. Advantageously, the overlap area corresponds to a surface that is sufficiently large to be able to reliably fasten the profile element to a wall or a floor without further mounting devices. When not installed, the flat overlap area is flexible, loose or movable.
In addition to a sealing fastening area, the profile system according to the invention advantageously also has overlap areas which serve for flexible fastening of the profile element to the wall or floor. Furthermore, the mounting area can be smaller than the surface of the profile element opposite the fastening area. This means that sections of the sealant are neither attached nor do they overlap the profile element. The profile element can therefore advantageously be cut to a required length.
In addition to the reliable fastening of a profile element on or in a wall or on a floor, the profile system according to the invention also enables a variable adjustment of the height of the profile element during assembly. In addition, it is very easy to adjust the size (e.g. cut to length) of the profile system depending on the structural conditions. At the same time, a high sealing effect is ensured through the use of a sealant, such as a sealing film.
The profile system according to the invention is primarily intended for a sanitary facility, such as a floor-level shower, but it should in no way be restricted to this application. The profile system according to the invention is intended for any application in which profiles with seals are used.
In some embodiments, the installation position of the profile element can be variably adjusted in the vertical and / or horizontal by the overlap area. Installation position is understood to mean that position in which the profile element is loosely arranged on a floor, wall and / or ceiling surface, i.e. in which the profile system is not yet fixed. The overlap area is advantageously at least so large that this area is sufficient to keep the profile element stable in a certain position in the installed state.
In some embodiments, the overlap area extends on at least two opposite sides of the fastening area in the form of two partial overlap areas which are provided for mounting the profile element on at least one wall, ceiling and / or floor surface, and / or a covering connected in each case. The two partial overlap areas act as fixation devices, that is, when the profile system is in the installation position, the partial overlap areas are somewhat attached to a wall, ceiling and / or floor surface by means of tiles and / or tile adhesive in order to keep the profile element attached to the attachment area stable. Corresponding the partial overlap areas are dimensioned sufficiently to hold the weight of the profile element securely, ie tilting or twisting of the profile element is not possible.
In some embodiments, the profile element and / or the sealing element can be cut to size. In the non-installed state, the profile element can only be partially covered in its longitudinal direction by the sealing element. The profile element can have an end section to which the sealing element is not fastened. The profile element can also have both end sections without a sealant attached to it. The profile element can be individually shortened according to a customer request using a saw or another cutting tool in the section area where there is no adhesive sealing film. In this way, the profile element can be optimally adapted to a tile or floor slab format or a joint grid in the area of sanitary facilities. The profile element is preferably not covered with the sealing element at its longitudinal ends. The profile element can thus advantageously be cut at both ends. This enables the profile element length to be individually adapted to the structural conditions at the installation site.
The profile element which can be cut to size can also have at least one profile end piece which can be detachably connected to an open end of the profile element. The profile element can have two open ends, each of which is shut off in a liquid-tight manner by means of a profile end piece. The profile end pieces or end caps are preferably used after the profile element has been cut to the installation length.
In some embodiments, the profile element is provided as a collecting profile for shower water for installation in or attachment to a wall. The collective profile according to the invention is not limited to this application. The collecting profile can also comprise a drainage channel or a channel body. The collection profile can be fully or partially integrated into a wall. The collection profile can also be integrated into the floor in front of a wall. The profile system consisting of a collecting profile and sealing element can be arranged anywhere in a shower cell where water collects that is to be directed to a drain.
In some embodiments, the profile element has at least one inlet opening for admitting shower water into the collecting profile. The inlet opening can be arranged on the side. The inlet opening can preferably extend over the entire length of the collecting profile. There may also be several inlet openings. The inlet opening can be provided with a cover which is designed to continue to let water through, but prevents small parts or body parts from getting into the collecting profile.
In some embodiments, the profile element has at least one outlet opening for discharging shower water into a siphon. The outlet opening corresponds to a drain. The outlet opening can be arranged in the collecting opening in such a way that it can be easily reached for cleaning by means of a shower jet. Preferably the outlet opening is in the bottom, i.e. arranged in a lower surface of the collecting profile. The outlet opening can be arranged such that surfaces inclined towards the outlet opening are arranged thereon in order to improve the water drainage. There may also be several outlet openings.
In the installed position, the inlet opening is preferably arranged at a higher level than the outlet opening in order to improve the water drainage
In some embodiments, the collecting profile is provided in a U-shape with a base, a rear wall and an upper base. The collective profile can also have a different cross-sectional profile design (e.g. a C-profile or L-profile). The collecting profile can also have a collecting profile end piece for lateral sealing at its longitudinal ends. Apart from the inlet opening and the outlet opening, the collecting profile can thus be designed to be closed.
In some embodiments, the inlet opening is provided on the side facing away from the rear wall. Accordingly, the opening can lie opposite the rear wall, ie it can be a side inlet opening. The opening can extend over the entire height of the U-shaped profile. The opening can be opened by another Leg extending vertically from the end of the floor opposite the rear wall over a height which is less than the total height of the U-shaped profile, can be reduced. This additional leg can extend to a height which corresponds to a floor covering level in the installation position of the profile system, so that the water inlet into the inlet opening is ensured.
In some embodiments, the outlet opening is formed in the floor. The outlet opening can be designed as a round, angular or other suitable shape, which allows the water that is located in the collecting profile to be drained into a siphon or the like.
In some embodiments, the collecting profile is provided in a U-shape with a base, a rear wall and an upper base, the opening is provided on the side facing away from the rear wall and the outlet opening is formed in the base.
In some embodiments, in the profile system according to the invention, an inwardly inclined run-in slope extends along the floor in the direction of the side facing away from the rear wall. The inlet slope and the collecting profile can be formed in one piece. The inlet slope and the collecting profile can be detachably connected to one another. The entry slope can be made of the same material as the collection profile. The inlet slope can have a slope that points in the direction of the outlet opening. At its highest point, the inlet slope, when installed, may have a maximum surface level of the shower base. The inlet slope can also be designed without a slope, that is to say horizontally in the installed state.
In some embodiments, the inlet slope has at least one drainage channel. The at least one drainage channel extends through the inlet slope with a slope towards the outlet opening. The drainage channel is designed to guide water to the drain which, when installed, accumulates between the front surface of the inlet slope and the floor covering. The inlet slope preferably has a multiplicity of drainage channels.
In some embodiments, the fastening area is connected flat to the rear wall and the bottom of the collecting profile, the fastening area partially covering the rear wall and the floor. As a result, a partial region of the sealing element, which extends from the fastening region, is not connected to the bottom and the rear wall of the profile element. The fastening region is preferably arranged in such a way that the profile element has end sections to which the sealing element is not connected. The profile element can advantageously be cut at these end sections.
In some embodiments, the inlet opening of the collecting profile is configured to form a gap in the installed position as a water drain between a wall covering, in particular tiles, and a floor covering, in particular tiles. The gap preferably has a height which is sufficiently large that the collecting profile can be cleaned in the assembled state with the shower head shower. The gap is preferably designed such that no small parts or body parts such as toes can penetrate.
A siphon can be configured with the profile system according to the invention. The siphon can be a drain system through which waste water or shower water can pass. The siphon can be connected to the profile at the factory. A film is preferably firmly connected between the siphon and the profile. The siphon is preferably a flow-optimized, self-cleaning siphon. When using a self-cleaning siphon, the inlet opening of the profile system can advantageously be made very narrow.
A shower element can be designed with the profile system according to the invention.
In some embodiments, the profile element is designed as a decorative strip for a shower with a slope. The trim strip can also be designed as a gradient wedge. The decorative strip can be designed to visually embellish a difference in height of floor tiles. The height difference can be a step. It can also be a difference in height, which is caused by a gradient of a floor-level shower compared to the floor next to the shower. The trim and the gradient wedge can be formed as a flat elongated profile. During assembly, the Overlap area of the sealing element can be attached to the higher floor area and to the lower floor area. The trim or slope wedge is arranged parallel to the step, the upper end being substantially flush with the surface of the upper floor tile. The lower floor tile is then placed on the overlap area and assembled or fastened.
In some embodiments, the mounting area extends on a lower portion of a side molding. This advantageously enables the trim or the gradient wedge to be stable and easy to fix in spite of the difference in height due to the overlap area.
In some embodiments, the profile element is provided as an L-profile. The L-profile preferably has a right angle in cross section. The L-profile can also have other angles. The L-profile can serve as a support profile or as an end profile. The profile element can also be designed as a T-profile and serve as a support profile or end profile.
In some embodiments, the L-profile has a bottom and a leg, and the fastening area is connected on the bottom underside, the area of the bottom underside being larger than the fastening area. The L-profile can be attached to a wall or a floor with its floor and the associated fastening area. The L-profile can advantageously be cut to size, since end sections are not connected to the sealing element.
In some embodiments, in addition to the L-profile in the installation position, a clamping profile can also be attached, in particular to accommodate a shower wall. In conjunction with the clamping profile, the L-profile is suitable for picking up flat objects and holding them in place with a clamping effect. The clamping profile can have a U-shaped cross section, which serves as a receptacle. The clamping profile can be attached to the sealing element when the L-profile is installed, ie the overlapping areas of the profile system are already glued to a wall or floor. Also, the clamping profile can only be attached after the floor or wall covering has already been attached. In the latter application, the leg of the L-profile has one Length that exceeds the thickness of the floor or wall covering. The L-profile can run through a tile joint or be arranged on a wall. The wall covering can hit the profile. It is thus possible to attach the clamping profile over the covering. The clamping profile is preferably connected to the leg of the L-profile. The clamping profile can be screwed to the leg.
In some embodiments, the attached clamping profile has at least one elastic clamping area and can be variably adjusted in the horizontal. Any means that is designed to be resilient or easily bendable is suitable as an elastic clamping area. By accommodating an object in the clamping area, this flexible and / or resilient means is moved to the side. At the same time, a restoring force exerts a holding force on the object. The clamping profile can also be individually adjusted perpendicular to the wall surface or the floor surface. This depth adjustment can be done by moving the clamping profile along the leg.
In some embodiments, a height-adjustable baffle profile can also be attached to the L-profile in the installation position.
In some embodiments, the profile element is provided as a U-profile, for receiving glass, decorative elements and / or panels.
In some embodiments, the profile element is provided as a magnetic strip, which can be connected to a magnetic profile, which is provided for closing, in particular, a shower door.
All embodiments of the profile element can very well seal an adjacent wall, ceiling or floor area by fastening with the sealing element while having a loose overlap area. In particular, joint areas can also be sealed behind the sealing element.

The collecting
The

The sealing
The

The
