Definitions
- the invention relates to a drainage device, which is particularly suitable for installation in a shower or wet room.
- shower channels which are designed to supply the service water that is generated in the area of a shower, a siphon or drain.
- a corresponding example is in Fig. 1 shown.
- Such a shower channel 10 is sunk buried in the floor and extends for example along a side or rear wall 20 of the shower area. If one looks at a slightly inclined ground 11, then the service water runs towards the shower channel 10 and is fed from there to the siphon or drain, which is arranged below the shower channel 10 in the ground.
- an elongate cover grid 43 can be mounted.
- An exemplary shower tray is offered under the name AQUA shower gutter TM by the company Schaco AG Switzerland.
- a wall-parallel and exactly horizontal mounting of such a shower channel 10 is not very easy, especially since typically the shower channel 10 is positioned before the inclined bottom of the shower, here referred to as shower floor created.
- the wall finish in the transition region from the shower channel 10 to an adjacent wall 20 is not without problems. In case of improper installation, leaks can occur, for example, through which water can penetrate into the wall 20 or the floor. In addition, sound bridges often occur in the area of the wall termination, which can lead, for example, to impact sound or water noise being transmitted via the wall to other areas of the building. In this case, binding standards would not be adhered to.
- Another object is seen in developing a drainage device that can be used as universally as possible in various installation situations.
- a recessed drainage gutter for liquids has an elongated drainage channel which has at least one passage area in an upper area in order to be able to supply a liquid from above through the drainage channel to a drain when installed.
- at least one first longitudinal collar is provided, which extends along a first longitudinal side of the passage region.
- a frame is partially disposed below the first longitudinal collar.
- the frame has a vertical surface which is located laterally next to the first longitudinal collar.
- the frame is slidably connected to the gutter.
- a flexible sealing strip with a strip length is arranged, which is approximately the total length of the gutter corresponds, wherein a part of the flexible sealing strip between the first longitudinal collar and the frame is arranged.
- a shower with gutter 10 is in Fig. 1 shown. Shown is a shower 10, which does not require a shower tray or the like. Sufficient drainage of the water is ensured by the fact that the shower floor area 11 has a slight gradient relative to the surrounding floor area. In the example shown, the shower floor area 11 on the right approximately has the level of the floor 13 occupied with plates. Towards the left (ie towards the wall 20), the shower floor area 11 drops off the level of the bathroom floor covered with slabs 13. At the lowest point, an outflow is planned. In the example shown, a so-called gutter 10 is used as a drain, which is covered at the top with a quadrangular (preferably rectangular) grid 43. The size of the grate 43 is chosen so that there is a gap at the edge through which water enters the gutter 10. Particularly suitable for such an application is a shower channel AQUA TM, which is available from Schaco AG, Switzerland.
- FIGS. 2A-2C a possible embodiment of the invention is shown in schematic form.
- Fig. 2A a section through a gutter 10 is shown. It is a recessed drainage gutter 10, which is connected fluidically with a drain 33 (not visible).
- the gutter 10 has an overall length L (see Fig. 3 ) and has an elongated drainage channel 30, which has at least one passage area 31.1 in an upper area, in order to be able to supply a liquid from above through the drainage channel 10 to the drainage 33 when installed.
- at least one first longitudinal collar 31.2 is provided which extends along a first longitudinal side of the passage region 31.1 extends.
- a second longitudinal collar 31.3 is present.
- the second longitudinal collar 31.3 is optional.
- a (sliding) frame 60 with a vertical surface 61 is arranged below the first longitudinal collar 31.2.
- the frame 60 is slidably connected to the gutter 10 so that the vertical surface 61 is laterally adjacent to the first longitudinal collar 31.2.
- Fig. 2A a situation is shown where the frame 60 is in a zero position (contact position). In this zero position, the frame 60 is not extended, but it lies substantially on the gutter 10 at.
- Fig. 2B a situation is shown where the frame 60 has been extended to a maximum position to the left.
- the maximum extension length A1 is in the range between the two FIGS. 2A and 2B indicated.
- a flexible sealing strip 36 with a strip length LS is arranged (see Fig. 3 ).
- the strip length LS corresponds approximately to the total length L of the gutter 10.
- a portion of the flexible sealing strip 36 is disposed between the first longitudinal collar 31.2 and the frame 60.
- the flexible sealing strip 36 is made of a flexible material that is waterproof, so that no water passes through the sealing strip 36 to the underlying wall 20.
- the sealing strip 36 should be designed so that it can receive or be impregnated by liquid seal or tile adhesive. Therefore, sealing strips 36 are particularly well, which are constructed of two or more materials (eg sandwich-like) in layers.
- a flexible and waterproof rubber strip which is at least partially laminated with a fleece, has proven particularly useful.
- the flexible sealing strip 36 has a maximum strip height HS (see Fig. 3 ), which is at least 20 mm, and a strip thickness DS (see FIGS. 2A and 2B ), which is between 0.5 mm and 3 mm.

- Such edge insulation strips 39 are known and are used to prevent sound and thermal bridges in the case of a floating screed.
- the edge insulation strip 39 is attached before or during assembly of the gutter 10.
- Fig. 5 It can be seen that this edge insulation strip 39 extends from the subfloor 17 (eg made of concrete) upwards along the wall 20.
- the height of the RanddämmstMails 39 is chosen so that it covers the entire area of the wall 20 in any case, where the frame 60 would otherwise butt directly against the wall 20.
- the edge insulation strip 39 preferably extends at a minimum distance of 5 mm above the upper edge X2 of the frame 60. In the contact region 67, the edge insulation strip 39 can rise flush on the floor 17 (as shown in the figures), or the edge insulation strip 39 can in the contact region 67 to be led around the corner. For this purpose, the edge insulation strip 39 may be provided with small longitudinal cuts.
- edge insulation strip 39 is adhered to the rear (wall-facing) vertical surface 61 of the frame 60 to simplify the assembly and to ensure that the upper edge X1 of RanddämmstMails 39 in any case above the top edge X2 the frame 60 is located (preferably with 5mm minimum distance).

A wall-parallel and exactly horizontal mounting of such a

In
Preferably, along the length L1 of the
When mounting the

On the
On the second flat longitudinal collar 31.3 and the
On the

In

In
Particularly preferred is an embodiment in which the sealing
