    - a secondary air circuit with a first branch (11) connecting the main suction pipe (10) to the front suction slot (14) and a second branch (12) connecting the main suction pipe (10) to the rear suction slot (15), the first branch (11) and the second branch (12) each comprising a plurality of section for air stream to pass through, each defined by a surface, characterised in that the second branch (12) comprises at least one passage section (12a) of which the surface is smaller than or equal to half the smallest surface of the passage sections (11a) of the first branch (11).
  2. Steam cleaner according to the preceding claim, wherein the second branch (12) comprises at least one passage section (12a) of which the surface is smaller than or equal to one third of the smallest surface of the passage sections (11a) of the first branch (11).
  3. Steam cleaner according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising a Y-shaped junction (13) at which the first branch (11) and the second branch (12) join the main suction pipe (10), and wherein an air stream from the second branch (12) undergoes a change in flow direction greater than 90° to the passage of the Y-shaped junction (13), and wherein an air stream from the first branch (11) undergoes a change in flow direction less than 60° to the passage of the Y-shaped junction (13).
  4. Steam cleaner according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein:
    - a front face (22) of the suction unit comprises a plurality of notches (18) leading into the front suction slot,
    - a rear face (23) of the suction unit comprises a plurality of notches (18) leading into the rear suction slot,
    and wherein the number of notches (18) on the front face (22) is greater than the number of notches (18) on the rear face (23).
  5. Steam cleaner according to the preceding claim, wherein the front face (22) comprises at least four notches (18).
  6. Steam cleaner according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising at least one suspended brush (16, 17) arranged between the front suction slot and the steam diffuser (21) and/or between the rear suction slot and the steam diffuser (21).
  7. Steam cleaner according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the suction unit is arranged to receive, so that it can be removed, a cleaning cloth between the steam diffuser (21) and a floor to be cleaned.
  8. Steam cleaner according to the preceding claim, comprising:
    - at least three wheels (32, 33), and
    - a cleaning cloth installed on the suction unit,
    wherein at least one of said at least three wheels (32, 33) is distant from the floor.
  9. Steam cleaner according to any one of the preceding claims, forming a steam cleaning brush.
