Definitions
- the invention relates to a shower surface unit for floor-level installation according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Flood shower units are enjoying increasing popularity not only in public facilities, such as swimming pools, sports facilities or hospitals, but also increasingly in private homes. This is not only because they offer many advantages due to barrier-free access.
- a floor-level shower allows unaided use, which is particularly important for people with physical disabilities.
- glass walls and transparent shower curtains allow for a discreet, translucent integration of the shower into the room. It is therefore not surprising that a large number of floor-level showers is known from the prior art.
- the tiled and grouted floor is mounted on a sealing foil or sealing coating on or under a screed layer.
- the disclosure DE 197 23 153 A1 proposes the disclosure DE 197 23 153 A1 a one-piece floor-level shower tray, which must be grouted only peripherally, possibly against solid side walls and the adjacent floor area.
- the shower tray has circumferential sealing lips on its circumference.
- the publication EP 1 388 317 A2 proposes a floor-level shower tray, which is designed with simple structural means so that the cup body can be easily and moisture-proof offset.
- the cup body to the surface of the support plate parallel and flush with the peripheral surface of the support plate edge portions, between which the sealing strips protrude parallel to the plate.
- the publication DE 10 2006 007 471 A1 describes a shower base for floor-level showers of a plate-shaped shower floor element which rests on a support element. During assembly, these two elements are brought together and connected to each other and continue on the top of the shower floor element a shower tray or a shower floor, for example in the form of tiles, placed.
- the shower base there is therefore not suitable for immediate, quick installation.
- the Utility Model DE 20 2009 008 775 U1 discloses a shower unit floor unit and support element, the latter rests on the former and can be connected to this already before installation.
- the carrier element is structurally designed as a solid plastic block and has on its upper side a coating which in each case comprises an adhesive, a design and a sealing layer. An edge reinforcement of the carrier element by a synthetic resin layer is not provided. Since the local substructure has no features that allow an adaptation to the underground relief at the installation site, a complex straightening of the substrate before installation is necessary.
- the invention has thus set itself the task of providing a floor-level shower surface unit in order to overcome the above difficulties and in particular to facilitate the assembly and long-term, as well as maintenance-free sealing of this with the floor covering.
- Another object of the invention is to provide a method of making such a shower surface unit. This object is achieved in a surprisingly simple but effective manner by a shower surface unit for floor-level installation by the lower layer and the edge reinforcement form a layer. In addition, the object is achieved by the method having the features in claim 12.
- a shower surface unit for floor-level installation which comprises a shower tray with at least two layers constructed with an upper side and a lower side and a mounting frame arranged on the underside.
- the shower surface unit typically forms a floor-level unit of a shower for the reception and discharge of shower water.
- cup tray is understood to mean the actual cup body of a shower, which is responsible for the absorption and discharge of shower water.
- the cup is typically cupped and constructed thin-walled compared to its dimensions.
- the cup-like structure of the cup is understandably very flat and at the same time slightly and steadily inclined longitudinally and transversely to the drain. This incline ensures a good drainage of the shower water.
- the cup has a drain opening on which a drain can be mounted.
- the shower tray is at least two layers and has an upper side and a lower side.
- the at least two layers may consist of one or more plastics, which are positively, non-positively and / or materially connected to each other, and serve to stabilize the shower tray. This makes it possible that the shower tray despite a small thickness and a low weight has a very high stability and / or capacity.
- the upper layer thus forms the top of the cup from the user surface, whereas the subsequent lower layer forms the bottom of the cup.
- the top of the shower tray is a later user in the shower.
- the upper layer is usually only very thin-walled. In addition, it may happen that this layer has a structured surface on the underside.
- the lower layer consists of synthetic resin and has an edge reinforcement made of synthetic resin. It is important that the lower Layer and the edge reinforcement form a layer and applied together in one step.
- the edge reinforcement made of synthetic resin is located at the edge of the cup.
- the lower layer and the edge reinforcement contribute significantly to the mechanical stabilization of the cup body.
- the lower layer of the shower tray may be reinforced by glass fibers and / or other material. In this way it is achieved that the thin-walled cup is even more stable.
- the lower layer and the edge reinforcement are preferably cohesively connected to the upper layer of the shower tray, in particular cast by the resin is brought in non-cured form to the cup body and cures there.
- the liquid resin adapts perfectly to the surface structure of the upper layer, so that the connection achieved is cohesive.
- a stable and good connection is particularly important since the upper layer can be designed differently on the underside, for example, it can have a rough and / or complicated-shaped surface structure. The presence of a particularly rough surface of the cup body leads to an even better connection, since in this case surface structures can be encompassed by the synthetic resin.
- the edge reinforcement is in turn connected to a mounting frame, with a stable and secure connection between the mounting frame and a typically thin-walled and / or rough upper layer of the shower tray without the presence of the synthetic resin layer according to the invention would be difficult to accomplish.
- the connection of the edge reinforcement with the mounting frame can be positive, non-positive and / or cohesive.
- the edge reinforcement thus not only serves to stabilize the edge region of the shower tray by reinforcing the edge region in terms of its thickness and thus simultaneously enables a connection to the mounting frame.
- the edge reinforcement has the advantage that the cup with very low weight and / or material use in the production is very stable and resilient. A low weight has proven to be advantageous because the shower tray can be so easily transported and / or assembled by a single person without much effort. This not only reduces the assembly costs, but also the costs for their production.
- mounting frame refers to a frame which is intended to support and / or stabilize the shower tray as well as to facilitate the assembly of the shower surface unit. there supports the frame the shower tray in the assembled state reliably by forming its immediate support and the power flow between the cup and the floor, such as a bathroom, runs over the mounting frame. In this regard, it is important that the mounting frame is designed to be higher compared to the bottom of the shower tray.
- the mounting frame is arranged on the underside of the shower tray and connected to the edge reinforcement. Since the edge reinforcement is located at the edge region of the shower tray and thus in the region of its later installation position, the mounting frame is likewise arranged in this region of the cup. In this case, the connection of the frame with the shower tray is given over the edge reinforcement, wherein the connection can be positive, non-positive and / or cohesive.
- the mounting frame according to the invention may consist of any material. However, it has been recognized within the scope of the invention that the mounting frame should consist of a metallic material for static reasons. To save weight, it is conceivable, for example, that the frame is composed of several parts, in particular the profile parts made of steel, in particular stainless steel, or aluminum.
- the frame may also be configured in one piece or in several parts, ie be composed of one or more frame segments.
- the frame is preferably configured circumferentially, so that the individual segments of the frame touch directly and / or connected to each other.
- the individual segments need not be directly connected to each other. So is for example, it is conceivable that the frame of a shower tray with a square plan is formed completely encircling or consists of four, not touching at the ends or not interconnected frame segments, which are arranged on the respective sides of the square and together form the mounting frame.
- the shower surface unit according to the invention has several advantages over the prior art.
- the edge region of the shower tray is clearly stabilized, so that there is no significant deformation even under load.
- This has another positive effect, namely the long-term and maintenance-free ensuring the tightness in the connection area.
- the interposition of the edge reinforcement made of synthetic resin to the upper layer allows a secure connection of the mounting frame to the cup body.
- shower unit is already ready to install a shower tray and a mounting frame ready to install, which not only time, but also additional personnel can be saved during installation. This is due to the fact that the shower surface unit according to the invention, despite its high stability and load capacity has a very low weight.
- the mounting frame comprises underside infinitely adjustable frame feet, so that the shower surface unit can be easily installed on site and connected to a drain.
- the frame feet allow the shower unit due to their individual adjustment a stable and secure stand, as easily and easily bumps and / or a slope in the ground can be compensated.
- the frame feet can be made of any material, but for stability reasons, they are at least partially made of a metallic material. It has been found that the part of the frame foot which comes into contact with the ground, i. the compassionfußkappe, made of plastic, rubber and / or a mixture can be made. As a result, it is also achieved that the feet without an additive, such as an adhesive, silicone and / or acrylic, non-slip stand up on the floor at the installation.
- the mounting frame has no frame feet, but only device sites for easy and quick connection of frame feet. These can then be firmly or releasably attached, such as plugged, glued, welded or screwed.
- the mounting frame comprises at least one steel profile, in particular a hot-dip galvanized steel profile and / or a steel profile made of stainless steel, to which the frame feet are attached.
- the steel profile has any profile, wherein the frame feet engage in the profile and are attached thereto.
- the steel profile is preferably a U-profile or C-profile.
- the frame feet can be permanently or detachably connected to the steel profile.
- a detachable connection is achieved for example by screwing or clamping.
- a permanently elastic adhesive for example a polymer adhesive
- a permanently elastic adhesive is characterized by the ability to absorb vibrations and to be able to compensate for different thermal expansion coefficients of the frame and edge reinforcement.
- Another advantage of a permanently elastic adhesive lies in attenuating the structure-borne noise emanating from the shower tray and thus ensuring a pleasant showering experience.
- a “sealant” is meant a nonwoven, i. a largely flexible textile fabric which, due to its structure, is excellently suitable as a sealing, insulating and / or upholstery fabric.
- the sealing fleece is therefore preferably a sanitary sealing fleece.
- the main function of the sealing fleece is thus not only in a seal of the bottom, but also in intercepting vibrations and / or shocks of a user.
- the sealing fleece thus contributes decisively to a pleasant showering experience. It is understood that the sealing fleece is arranged in the edge region of the shower tray.
- the top layer of the shower tray is polymethylmethacrylate.
- Polymethyl methacrylate is a synthetic, thermoplastic plastic used in a wide range of applications. Due to its specific properties, polymethyl methacrylate is particularly suitable for sanitary and / or furnishing components, such as bathtubs and / or shower trays.
- the top of the shower tray is made of polymethyl methacrylate, it is non-slip and / or slip-resistant and allows a safe and reliable stand of the user. Thus, slipping and / or slipping is prevented even with a wet surface.
- polymethyl methacrylate is easily cleanable, scratch-resistant, colourfast, color-stable and / or shock-resistant.
- an adhesion promoter is arranged between the upper layer and the lower layer of the shower tray, which leads to an increase in the adhesion between the two layers.
- adhesion promoter is understood by a person skilled in the art to mean a substance which is used to improve and / or accelerate the adhesive strength of composites. Therefore, adhesion promoters find their use in heavily stressed bonds and coating. A person skilled in the art will be aware of suitable adhesion promoters.
- One embodiment of the shower surface unit suggests that the underside of the shower tray bounded by the mounting frame is reinforced by a sandwich synthetic resin system.
- a sandwich-resin system has excellent mechanical strength, i. Stiffness, so that the shower tray is resistant to deformation that may be caused by differences and / or changes between the individual layer, the mounting frame and / or the mounting location.
- the sandwich synthetic resin system comprises two synthetic resin laminate layers and a base plate arranged therebetween, wherein the middle foot is fastened to the underside of the sandwich synthetic resin system.
- the use of a base plate made of wood or a wood material is already known from the prior art and serves the further stabilization of the cup body.
- the bottom plate is enclosed by at least two synthetic resin laminate layers, and attached via a synthetic resin laminate layer to the shower tray, in particular the lower synthetic resin layer.
- Such a bottom plate not only helps increase the stability and / or resilience of the shower surface unit, but also allows the attachment of at least one metatarsus, which can be easily anchored for example by means of a metatarsal plate in the bottom plate and / or screwed. Understandably, it is also possible to glue the metatarsus by means of the metatarsal plate with the synthetic resin layer, for example with a permanently elastic adhesive.
- the underside of the shower tray comprises at least one infinitely adjustable metatarsus, which is arranged centrally of the shower tray and attached to the underside of the sandwich resin system.
- the metatarsus serves to support the central area of the shower surface unit and stabilizes it in addition. Depending on the size of the unit, more than one metatarsus may be required.
- the metatarsus consists of any material and is at least partially made of a metallic material for reasons of stability.
- the part of the metatarsus which comes into contact with the ground ie the metatarsal cap, may be made of plastic, rubber and / or a mixture.
- the feet without an additive, such as an adhesive, silicone and / or acrylic, non-slip stand up on the floor at the installation.
- the metatarsus and / or the frame feet are height adjustable and / or laterally adjustable.
- the height adjustment can be realized in different ways, for example by a spindle drive, i. a threaded rod and a mother cooperating therewith.
- a spindle drive i. a threaded rod and a mother cooperating therewith.
- another arbitrary and a person skilled in the possibility of height adjustment is conceivable.
- the metatarsus and / or the frame feet arranged on the mounting frame are laterally adjustable. This is conceivable, for example, by the metatarsal plate and / or the steel profile of the mounting frame serves as a kind of slide rail for the feet, so as to lock the feet in a desired position by tightening.
- an even more optimal adaptation of the shower surface unit to the floor at the installation site is achieved, for example, to compensate for inequalities and / or differences in height of the soil optimally for a safe and stable state of the unit.
- the synthetic resin can be of very different types, such as, for example, a phenoplast, aminoplast, epoxy resin or polyester resin.
- a 2-component system is used in the production, consisting of resin and hardener, through the mixing of which the synthetic resin is formed.
- various synthetic resins can be used, such as polyester resins, polyurethane resins, epoxy resins, silicone resins, vinyl ester resins, phenolic resins or acrylic resins.
- the synthetic resin is preferably a casting resin, in particular a polyurethane casting resin.
- the polyurethane casting resin is usually based on a 2-component system of a polyester and a curing agent such as polyisocyanate.
- the invention further provides a method of manufacturing a shower surface unit.
- a shower tray blank is provided which consists only of the upper layer, i. the top, and is still relatively unstable.
- the upper layer is first prepared by deforming a prefabricated plate, for example of polymethyl methacrylate.
- a lower layer and an edge reinforcement are next applied to the rear of the shower base blank on the rear side thereof.
- This is best realized by pouring with a self-leveling resin, such as a polyurethane casting resin.
- This layer of synthetic resin can additionally be reinforced by glass fibers and / or another material. With the aforementioned Steps is thus made a shower tray from the shower tray blank.
- the shower tray produced is not the right size. Therefore, it is also possible to tailor the shower tray to the appropriate format before further processing by cutting the shower tray in the region of the edge reinforcement by means of a suitable tool and / or a device. Such tools and / or devices are known to a person skilled in the art. It is important to make sure that the edge reinforcement is not shortened too much.
- the shower tray consisting of upper layer, such as polymethyl methacrylate, an optional adhesion promoter and the lower layer with edge reinforcement made of synthetic resin for the first time. Due to the structure of the shower tray, it is now possible to cut the shower tray and / or mill, which is not conceivable on the current state of the art.
- a mounting frame on the edge reinforcement of the shower tray, which serves the support and / or the carrying of the cup body.
- a sealing fleece for example a sanitary sealing fleece
- a permanently elastic adhesive is suitable.
- the mounting frame must still be connected to the edge reinforcement of the shower tray. This connection can also be made with a permanently elastic adhesive.
- Preferred embodiments of the method correspond to the preferred embodiments of the shower surface unit according to the invention.
- the step is additionally carried out that a bonding agent is applied.
- the adhesion promoter is preferably arranged between the upper layer and the lower layer of the shower tray blank or the shower tray produced and leads to an increase in the adhesion between the two layers. In this regard, it is advisable to degrease and / or grind the back of the top layer prior to its application to make a more stable connection.
- the adhesion promoter By means of the adhesion promoter it is achieved that the lower layer adheres much better. In addition, it is possible that the shower tray can be cut and / or milled without the upper layer flaking off.
- the invention relates to a method for mounting a shower surface unit.
- the frame feet of the shower tray are initially set, ie the frame feet are adjusted according to the nature and / or design of the soil at the installation laterally and / or in height. This is important to ensure a safe and stable state of the shower surface unit and a uniform and directed flow of shower water.
- the at least one metatarsal of the shower tray is adjusted, ie adjusted laterally and / or in height. Care should be taken with the midfoot that it has a lower height than the frame feet to ensure a simple and quick set up.
- the adjustment of the metatarsus is done by pulling on the pull cord until no movement of the metatarsus occurs and the metatarsus is brought into contact with the ground.

Description
The invention relates to a shower surface unit for floor-level installation according to the preamble of claim 1.
Flood shower units are enjoying increasing popularity not only in public facilities, such as swimming pools, sports facilities or hospitals, but also increasingly in private homes. This is not only because they offer many advantages due to barrier-free access. For example, a floor-level shower allows unaided use, which is particularly important for people with physical disabilities. In addition, glass walls and transparent shower curtains allow for a discreet, translucent integration of the shower into the room. It is therefore not surprising that a large number of floor-level showers is known from the prior art.
When installing a floor-level shower, ensure a good seal of the floor and a steady ground gradient of at least 2% along and across the drain, as well as to ensure a slip-resistant surface. To ensure the seal, various possibilities are known in the prior art. Usually, the tiled and grouted floor is mounted on a sealing foil or sealing coating on or under a screed layer.
The disadvantage of such a design of the shower, however, is their elaborate creation. In addition, there is a risk of unnoticed moisture penetration of the structure when moisture can penetrate through porous or cracked joints. Moreover, joints become unsightly with age, resulting in their difficult care and the resulting lack of hygiene.
The disadvantage here, however, that a peripheral jointing must be performed on the adjacent floor area and that any creepage water that penetrates through a gap in a defective seal, is not derived and thus can penetrate into the building. In addition, the installation of the shower tray due to the circumferential shower lips requires a lot of time and a fine craftsmanship to ensure a long-term and maintenance-free tightness of the shower.
In the proposed shower tray, however, there is the problem that the sealing strips can not guarantee the required seal between the edge portions and an uneven floor covering, so that an additional sealing film is necessary.
In this case, however, it has proven to be disadvantageous that the shower tray for weight reasons in two parts, ie from a shower plateau and a frame is constructed. As a result, there is another way in which creeping water can penetrate if not properly sealed.
The Utility Model
An edge reinforcement of the carrier element by a synthetic resin layer is not provided. Since the local substructure has no features that allow an adaptation to the underground relief at the installation site, a complex straightening of the substrate before installation is necessary.
There is therefore a great need for a simple and easy to install, as well as ready to install and absolutely dense shower surface unit. The invention has thus set itself the task of providing a floor-level shower surface unit in order to overcome the above difficulties and in particular to facilitate the assembly and long-term, as well as maintenance-free sealing of this with the floor covering. Another object of the invention is to provide a method of making such a shower surface unit. This object is achieved in a surprisingly simple but effective manner by a shower surface unit for floor-level installation by the lower layer and the edge reinforcement form a layer. In addition, the object is achieved by the method having the features in claim 12.
It is proposed a shower surface unit for floor-level installation, which comprises a shower tray with at least two layers constructed with an upper side and a lower side and a mounting frame arranged on the underside. In this case, the shower surface unit typically forms a floor-level unit of a shower for the reception and discharge of shower water.
The term "shower tray" is understood to mean the actual cup body of a shower, which is responsible for the absorption and discharge of shower water. The cup is typically cupped and constructed thin-walled compared to its dimensions. To ensure a floor-level installation and thus a barrier-free access to the shower, the cup-like structure of the cup is understandably very flat and at the same time slightly and steadily inclined longitudinally and transversely to the drain. This incline ensures a good drainage of the shower water. In addition, the cup has a drain opening on which a drain can be mounted.
In the context of the invention, the shower tray is at least two layers and has an upper side and a lower side. The at least two layers may consist of one or more plastics, which are positively, non-positively and / or materially connected to each other, and serve to stabilize the shower tray. This makes it possible that the shower tray despite a small thickness and a low weight has a very high stability and / or capacity.
Preferably, the upper layer thus forms the top of the cup from the user surface, whereas the subsequent lower layer forms the bottom of the cup. On the top of the shower tray is a later user in the shower. To save weight, the upper layer is usually only very thin-walled. In addition, it may happen that this layer has a structured surface on the underside.
The lower layer consists of synthetic resin and has an edge reinforcement made of synthetic resin. It is important that the lower Layer and the edge reinforcement form a layer and applied together in one step. The edge reinforcement made of synthetic resin is located at the edge of the cup.
The lower layer and the edge reinforcement contribute significantly to the mechanical stabilization of the cup body. Optionally, the lower layer of the shower tray may be reinforced by glass fibers and / or other material. In this way it is achieved that the thin-walled cup is even more stable.
The lower layer and the edge reinforcement are preferably cohesively connected to the upper layer of the shower tray, in particular cast by the resin is brought in non-cured form to the cup body and cures there. As a result, the liquid resin adapts perfectly to the surface structure of the upper layer, so that the connection achieved is cohesive. In addition, it is achieved that only the edge region of the shower tray is effectively reinforced. A stable and good connection is particularly important since the upper layer can be designed differently on the underside, for example, it can have a rough and / or complicated-shaped surface structure. The presence of a particularly rough surface of the cup body leads to an even better connection, since in this case surface structures can be encompassed by the synthetic resin.
It is well known from the prior art that many synthetic resins are self-leveling and thus form a flat surface in the liquid state, which also remains when solidifying. This property of synthetic resins is exploited by a suitable only by the lower layer and the edge reinforcement made of synthetic resin shaped, ie smooth and / or horizontal, surface is provided for one or more compounds. Moreover, the lower layer and the edge reinforcement become part of the shower tray due to the integral connection of the synthetic resin with the upper layer.
In this case, the edge reinforcement is in turn connected to a mounting frame, with a stable and secure connection between the mounting frame and a typically thin-walled and / or rough upper layer of the shower tray without the presence of the synthetic resin layer according to the invention would be difficult to accomplish. The connection of the edge reinforcement with the mounting frame can be positive, non-positive and / or cohesive.
The edge reinforcement thus not only serves to stabilize the edge region of the shower tray by reinforcing the edge region in terms of its thickness and thus simultaneously enables a connection to the mounting frame. In addition, the edge reinforcement has the advantage that the cup with very low weight and / or material use in the production is very stable and resilient. A low weight has proven to be advantageous because the shower tray can be so easily transported and / or assembled by a single person without much effort. This not only reduces the assembly costs, but also the costs for their production.
The term "mounting frame" refers to a frame which is intended to support and / or stabilize the shower tray as well as to facilitate the assembly of the shower surface unit. there supports the frame the shower tray in the assembled state reliably by forming its immediate support and the power flow between the cup and the floor, such as a bathroom, runs over the mounting frame. In this regard, it is important that the mounting frame is designed to be higher compared to the bottom of the shower tray.
The mounting frame is arranged on the underside of the shower tray and connected to the edge reinforcement.
The mounting frame according to the invention may consist of any material. However, it has been recognized within the scope of the invention that the mounting frame should consist of a metallic material for static reasons. To save weight, it is conceivable, for example, that the frame is composed of several parts, in particular the profile parts made of steel, in particular stainless steel, or aluminum.
The frame may also be configured in one piece or in several parts, ie be composed of one or more frame segments. In the case of the one-piece embodiment, the frame is preferably configured circumferentially, so that the individual segments of the frame touch directly and / or connected to each other. In the multi-part design, the individual segments need not be directly connected to each other. So is For example, it is conceivable that the frame of a shower tray with a square plan is formed completely encircling or consists of four, not touching at the ends or not interconnected frame segments, which are arranged on the respective sides of the square and together form the mounting frame.
The shower surface unit according to the invention has several advantages over the prior art. Thus, the edge region of the shower tray is clearly stabilized, so that there is no significant deformation even under load. This has another positive effect, namely the long-term and maintenance-free ensuring the tightness in the connection area. In addition, the interposition of the edge reinforcement made of synthetic resin to the upper layer allows a secure connection of the mounting frame to the cup body.
Another advantage is that the shower unit is already ready to install a shower tray and a mounting frame ready to install, which not only time, but also additional personnel can be saved during installation. This is due to the fact that the shower surface unit according to the invention, despite its high stability and load capacity has a very low weight.
Advantageous developments of the invention, which can be implemented individually or in combination, are shown in the subclaims.
In a further development of the invention, the mounting frame comprises underside infinitely adjustable frame feet, so that the shower surface unit can be easily installed on site and connected to a drain. The frame feet allow the shower unit due to their individual adjustment a stable and secure stand, as easily and easily bumps and / or a slope in the ground can be compensated. In this regard, it is important that at least two, but preferably more frame feet are included.
The frame feet can be made of any material, but for stability reasons, they are at least partially made of a metallic material. It has been found that the part of the frame foot which comes into contact with the ground, i. the Rahmenfußkappe, made of plastic, rubber and / or a mixture can be made. As a result, it is also achieved that the feet without an additive, such as an adhesive, silicone and / or acrylic, non-slip stand up on the floor at the installation.
It is also conceivable that the mounting frame has no frame feet, but only device sites for easy and quick connection of frame feet. These can then be firmly or releasably attached, such as plugged, glued, welded or screwed.
Furthermore, the mounting frame comprises at least one steel profile, in particular a hot-dip galvanized steel profile and / or a steel profile made of stainless steel, to which the frame feet are attached. It is conceivable that the steel profile has any profile, wherein the frame feet engage in the profile and are attached thereto. However, the steel profile is preferably a U-profile or C-profile.
The frame feet can be permanently or detachably connected to the steel profile. A detachable connection is achieved for example by screwing or clamping.
It has been recognized in the invention as essential to the invention that a cohesive connection between the edge reinforcement and mounting frame brings numerous benefits. For a stable cohesive connection, it is also advantageous if the joint is previously degreased and / or sanded. This increases the durability of the connection. Thus, it is provided in an alternative development that between the edge reinforcement, which has a smooth surface, and the mounting frame additionally arranged a sealing fleece, in particular glued. In this regard, it is conceivable to use any adhesive known to a person skilled in the art.
Advantageously, it has been found within the scope of the invention that the use of a permanently elastic adhesive, for example a polymer adhesive, brings about positive side effects. A permanently elastic adhesive is characterized by the ability to absorb vibrations and to be able to compensate for different thermal expansion coefficients of the frame and edge reinforcement. Another advantage of a permanently elastic adhesive lies in attenuating the structure-borne noise emanating from the shower tray and thus ensuring a pleasant showering experience.
By a "sealant" is meant a nonwoven, i. a largely flexible textile fabric which, due to its structure, is excellently suitable as a sealing, insulating and / or upholstery fabric. The sealing fleece is therefore preferably a sanitary sealing fleece. The main function of the sealing fleece is thus not only in a seal of the bottom, but also in intercepting vibrations and / or shocks of a user. The sealing fleece thus contributes decisively to a pleasant showering experience. It is understood that the sealing fleece is arranged in the edge region of the shower tray.
In an alternative of the present invention, the top layer of the shower tray is polymethylmethacrylate. Polymethyl methacrylate is a synthetic, thermoplastic plastic used in a wide range of applications. Due to its specific properties, polymethyl methacrylate is particularly suitable for sanitary and / or furnishing components, such as bathtubs and / or shower trays.
As the top of the shower tray is made of polymethyl methacrylate, it is non-slip and / or slip-resistant and allows a safe and reliable stand of the user. Thus, slipping and / or slipping is prevented even with a wet surface. In addition, polymethyl methacrylate is easily cleanable, scratch-resistant, colourfast, color-stable and / or shock-resistant.
Furthermore, it is conceivable that an adhesion promoter is arranged between the upper layer and the lower layer of the shower tray, which leads to an increase in the adhesion between the two layers. In this regard, it is advisable to degrease and / or grind the back of the top layer prior to its application to make a more stable connection.
An "adhesion promoter" is understood by a person skilled in the art to mean a substance which is used to improve and / or accelerate the adhesive strength of composites. Therefore, adhesion promoters find their use in heavily stressed bonds and coating. A person skilled in the art will be aware of suitable adhesion promoters.
One embodiment of the shower surface unit suggests that the underside of the shower tray bounded by the mounting frame is reinforced by a sandwich synthetic resin system. Such a sandwich-resin system has excellent mechanical strength, i. Stiffness, so that the shower tray is resistant to deformation that may be caused by differences and / or changes between the individual layer, the mounting frame and / or the mounting location.
In a refinement of the embodiment, the sandwich synthetic resin system comprises two synthetic resin laminate layers and a base plate arranged therebetween, wherein the middle foot is fastened to the underside of the sandwich synthetic resin system.
The use of a base plate made of wood or a wood material is already known from the prior art and serves the further stabilization of the cup body. For this purpose, the bottom plate is enclosed by at least two synthetic resin laminate layers, and attached via a synthetic resin laminate layer to the shower tray, in particular the lower synthetic resin layer.
Such a bottom plate not only helps increase the stability and / or resilience of the shower surface unit, but also allows the attachment of at least one metatarsus, which can be easily anchored for example by means of a metatarsal plate in the bottom plate and / or screwed. Understandably, it is also possible to glue the metatarsus by means of the metatarsal plate with the synthetic resin layer, for example with a permanently elastic adhesive.
Furthermore, it is conceivable that the underside of the shower tray comprises at least one infinitely adjustable metatarsus, which is arranged centrally of the shower tray and attached to the underside of the sandwich resin system. The metatarsus serves to support the central area of the shower surface unit and stabilizes it in addition. Depending on the size of the unit, more than one metatarsus may be required.
The metatarsus consists of any material and is at least partially made of a metallic material for reasons of stability. In this case, the part of the metatarsus which comes into contact with the ground, ie the metatarsal cap, may be made of plastic, rubber and / or a mixture. As a result, it is also achieved that the feet without an additive, such as an adhesive, silicone and / or acrylic, non-slip stand up on the floor at the installation.
In an alternative, the metatarsus and / or the frame feet are height adjustable and / or laterally adjustable. The height adjustment can be realized in different ways, for example by a spindle drive, i. a threaded rod and a mother cooperating therewith. However, another arbitrary and a person skilled in the possibility of height adjustment is conceivable.
In addition, it is provided in the context of the invention that the metatarsus and / or the frame feet arranged on the mounting frame are laterally adjustable. This is conceivable, for example, by the metatarsal plate and / or the steel profile of the mounting frame serves as a kind of slide rail for the feet, so as to lock the feet in a desired position by tightening.
By means of adjustment of the feet according to the invention, an even more optimal adaptation of the shower surface unit to the floor at the installation site is achieved, for example, to compensate for inequalities and / or differences in height of the soil optimally for a safe and stable state of the unit.
In a further development of the invention, it is conceivable that the synthetic resin can be of very different types, such as, for example, a phenoplast, aminoplast, epoxy resin or polyester resin. Typically, a 2-component system is used in the production, consisting of resin and hardener, through the mixing of which the synthetic resin is formed.
According to the invention, various synthetic resins can be used, such as polyester resins, polyurethane resins, epoxy resins, silicone resins, vinyl ester resins, phenolic resins or acrylic resins. However, the synthetic resin is preferably a casting resin, in particular a polyurethane casting resin. The polyurethane casting resin is usually based on a 2-component system of a polyester and a curing agent such as polyisocyanate.
It is understood that the definitions and embodiments of the above terms apply to all aspects described below in this specification, unless otherwise specified.
The invention further provides a method of manufacturing a shower surface unit. Here, first, a shower tray blank is provided which consists only of the upper layer, i. the top, and is still relatively unstable. In this case, the upper layer is first prepared by deforming a prefabricated plate, for example of polymethyl methacrylate.
To increase the stability and / or loading capacity of the upper layer, a lower layer and an edge reinforcement are next applied to the rear of the shower base blank on the rear side thereof. This is best realized by pouring with a self-leveling resin, such as a polyurethane casting resin. This layer of synthetic resin can additionally be reinforced by glass fibers and / or another material. With the aforementioned Steps is thus made a shower tray from the shower tray blank.
However, it may be that the shower tray produced is not the right size.
It is essential to the invention that in addition the possibility of cutting the shower tray is provided without that the surface flakes off. This is achieved by the inventive construction of the shower tray consisting of upper layer, such as polymethyl methacrylate, an optional adhesion promoter and the lower layer with edge reinforcement made of synthetic resin for the first time. Due to the structure of the shower tray, it is now possible to cut the shower tray and / or mill, which is not conceivable on the current state of the art.
Furthermore, after a grinding and / or degreasing of the lower layer, arranging a mounting frame on the edge reinforcement of the shower tray, which serves the support and / or the carrying of the cup body. In this regard, a sealing fleece, for example a sanitary sealing fleece, can be previously adhered to the edge reinforcement, for which purpose, for example, a permanently elastic adhesive is suitable. Finally, the mounting frame must still be connected to the edge reinforcement of the shower tray. This connection can also be made with a permanently elastic adhesive.
Preferred embodiments of the method correspond to the preferred embodiments of the shower surface unit according to the invention.
In a further development of the method, the step is additionally carried out that a bonding agent is applied. In this case, the adhesion promoter is preferably arranged between the upper layer and the lower layer of the shower tray blank or the shower tray produced and leads to an increase in the adhesion between the two layers. In this regard, it is advisable to degrease and / or grind the back of the top layer prior to its application to make a more stable connection.
By means of the adhesion promoter it is achieved that the lower layer adheres much better. In addition, it is possible that the shower tray can be cut and / or milled without the upper layer flaking off.
In addition, the invention relates to a method for mounting a shower surface unit. Here, the frame feet of the shower tray are initially set, ie the frame feet are adjusted according to the nature and / or design of the soil at the installation laterally and / or in height. This is important to ensure a safe and stable state of the shower surface unit and a uniform and directed flow of shower water. In addition, the at least one metatarsal of the shower tray is adjusted, ie adjusted laterally and / or in height. Care should be taken with the midfoot that it has a lower height than the frame feet to ensure a simple and quick set up.
Next, it is necessary to move a cord connected to the metatarsal to the outside and then set up the shower tray on the installation site. In the context of the invention, it has been recognized that the shower tray due to their design and attached to the feet caps already without additional additives, such as adhesives, silicone or acrylic, solid and secure. Of course, it is also possible to apply an adhesive additive on the caps of the feet before installing the shower tray to prevent accidental slippage of the cup body on the floor.
Finally, the adjustment of the metatarsus is done by pulling on the pull cord until no movement of the metatarsus occurs and the metatarsus is brought into contact with the ground.
Preferred embodiments of the method correspond to the preferred embodiments of the shower surface unit according to the invention.

In
The shower tray (110) according to the invention is constructed in two layers and has an upper side (111) and a lower side (113). The two layers (111, 113) are connected by means of a bonding agent (112) cohesively with each other and serve to stabilize the shower tray (110). The adhesion promoter (112) leads to an increase in the adhesion between the two layers (111, 113).
The upper layer (111) thus forms the upper surface (111) of the shower tray (110) the user surface on which a user stands while showering. Therefore, it is important that the surface of the upper layer (111) is slip-resistant. In this regard, it is recommended that the upper layer (111) of the shower tray (110) made of the synthetic thermoplastic polymethyl methacrylate, which ensures the desired surface properties such as feel, appearance and sufficient abrasion resistance.
The lower layer (113) consists of a self-leveling synthetic resin and has an edge reinforcement (114), also made of synthetic resin on. It is essential to the invention that the lower layer (113) and the edge reinforcement (114) form a common layer and are applied together in one work step. This layer contributes significantly to the mechanical stabilization of the thin-walled cup body (110). The edge reinforcement (114) made of synthetic resin is located at the edge region of the shower tray (110).
Due to the described construction of the shower tray (110), it is possible for the first time to cut (115) and / or mill the shower tray (110) along a defined edge, without the surface flaking off.
The shower tray (110) has a thin-walled upper layer (111) made of polymethyl methacrylate and a lower layer (113), wherein the upper layer (111) the top (111) of the shower tray (110) thus the user surface and the lower layer ( 113) forms the bottom (113) of the shower tray (110). The lower layer (113) consists of a self-leveling synthetic resin and has an edge reinforcement (114), also made of synthetic resin on. The two layers (111, 113) are connected by means of a bonding agent (112) cohesively with each other and serve to stabilize the shower tray (110).
Die sehr glatte, ebene Oberfläche der Randverstärkung (114) bildet eine optimale Anlagefläche für den Montagerahmen (120).The edge reinforcement (114) is in turn connected to the mounting frame (120) by means of a sealing fleece (123) serving for sealing and insulation, wherein the connection is cohesive and takes place by adhering with a permanently elastic polymer adhesive (122). In this regard, it is necessary that the edge reinforcement (114) have a smooth surface, which is given by the use of a self-leveling resin in the liquid state, since a horizontal, very flat surface is formed, which is retained during curing. The very smooth, flat surface of the edge reinforcement (114) forms an optimal contact surface for the mounting frame (120).
The mounting frame (120) is intended to support and / or stabilize the shower tray (110), as well as to facilitate assembly of the shower surface unit (100). Therefore, the mounting frame (120) on the bottom (113) of the shower tray (110) is arranged, with the edge reinforcement (114) connected and formed opposite the bottom (113) higher.
The mounting frame (120) has a steel profile (121) on which a continuously adjustable frame foot (130) are arranged on the underside,
The laterally and / or height-adjustable frame foot (130) serves to support the shower surface unit (100), so that it can be easily set up on site and adapted to the installation site by unevenness and / or a gradient in the ground can be compensated. For adjustability, the frame foot (130) comprises a threaded rod (133), on the end of which an anti-slip frame foot cap (131) is arranged. The frame base (130) is non-rotatably connected to a threaded on the threaded rod (133) seated Rahmenfußmutter (132). By turning the frame base (130) thus takes place a height adjustment of the same. At the inside of the steel profile (121) arranged part of the threaded rod (133) a toothed nut (124) is screwed, which rotatably engages by their dimensioning in the steel profile (121). On the outside of the steel profile, a perforated disc (125) and a further nut (126) are arranged, by means of which the threaded rod (131) on the steel profile (121) can be locked. By loosening the nut (126), the entire frame foot (130) can be displaced laterally along the steel profile (121).
The underside (113) of the shower tray (110) is reinforced in the central area located between the mounting frames (120) by means of a sandwich synthetic resin system. Such a sandwich-resin system has excellent mechanical strength, so that the shower tray (110) is resistant to deformation. The sandwich synthetic resin system comprises two synthetic resin laminate layers (117) and a bottom plate (118) arranged therebetween, on which the underside of the middle foot (140) is fastened is. The metatarsus (140 is simply anchored and / or screwed into the bottom plate (118) by means of a metatarsal plate (142).
Also, the metatarsus (140) is adjustable in height and has an anti-skid metatarsal cap (141). In addition, the metatarsus (140) comprises a threaded rod (143) and a coil (144). By pulling on a pull cord (145) wound on the bobbin (144), the bobbin (144) can be rotated, which effects a height adjustment of the midfoot (140).

The shower surface unit (100) in this case comprises a shower tray (110) which has an upper side and a lower side (113) and serves the actual intake and discharge of shower water, which is discharged through a drain opening (116). The underside (113) also has a very smooth, flat surface and an edge reinforcement, which provides an optimal contact surface for a mounting frame (120).

The shower surface unit (100) is reinforced in the central area located between the mounting frames (120) by means of a sandwich resin system comprising two resin laminate layers (117) and a bottom plate (118) interposed therebetween. A metatarsal (140) is anchored and / or screwed into the
The advantage of the illustrated shower surface unit (100) lies in the ready-to-install delivery. At the installation site, it is only necessary to adjust the feet (130, 140) to the desired height or to the desired lateral position. Due to the individual height adjustment, it is possible to compensate for bumps optimally and easily. In this case, the metatarsus (140) should have a lower height than the frame feet (130) in order to ensure a simple and rapid construction. Next, the drawstring (145) connected to the metatarsus (140) is moved outward, and then the shower tray (100) is placed on the mounting site.
Danach wird die Zugschnur (145) so weit abgewickelt, dass der Mittelfuß 20 auf eine etwas geringere Höhe eingestellt ist als die Füße 12In order to prevent inadvertent slippage of the installed shower surface unit (100), it is possible to rest on the foot caps (131, 131). 141) to apply a mounting adhesive. However, due to the slip-resistant properties of the foot caps (131, 141), this is not absolutely necessary. Thereafter, the pull cord (145) is unwound so far that the metatarsus 20 is set to a slightly lower height than the feet 12th
Finally, the adjustment of the metatarsus (140) takes place by pulling on the pull cord (145) until no movement of the metatarsus (140) takes place and the metatarsus (140) is brought into contact with the ground.
