Claims (9)

  1.     - couler en continue une billette (2), dans lequel de l'acier liquide est coulé dans la lingotière (3) pour donner une billette (2) au moins partiellement solidifiée ;
    - arrêter l'apport d'acier liquide dans la lingotière (3), grâce à quoi une extrémité de billette (18) se forme dans la lingotière (3), de sorte que la billette (2) présente une extrémité de billette (18), un secteur d'extrémité de billette (19) consécutif ayant une longueur B, telle que 0,5 < B < 5 m, et ensuite un corps de billette (20) ;
    - étirer la billette (2), dans lequel la billette (2) est étirée hors de la lingotière (3) dans une direction de coulée (9) ;
    - enregistrer une position de l'extrémité de billette (18) dans le guidage de billette (4) ;
    - avant que l'extrémité de billette (18), de manière préférée une extrémité inférieure (19a) du secteur d'extrémité de billette (19), ait dépassé la paire de rouleaux de guidage de billette (5) applicables : retirer la paire de rouleaux de guidage de billette (5) applicables, de sorte que la paire ne touche pas la billette (2) ;
    - refroidir le corps de billette (20) avec Q ≈ QNenn, dans lequel la buse de refroidissement (10) dispense une quantité de réfrigérant Q essentiellement égale à une quantité de réfrigérant nominale QNenn sur le corps de billette (20) ;
    - refroidir le secteur d'extrémité de billette (17) avec Q < QNenn, dans lequel la buse de refroidissement (10) dispense une quantité de réfrigérant Q < QNenn sur le secteur d'extrémité de billette (17) ;
    - refroidir l'extrémité de billette (18) avec Q ≥ QNenn, dans lequel la buse de refroidissement (10) dispense une quantité de réfrigérant Q ≥ QNenn sur l'extrémité de billette (18).
  6. Procédé selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que, lors du refroidissement du secteur d'extrémité de billette (19), la quantité de réfrigérant Q dispensée par la buse de refroidissement (10) est réduite en fonction d'un espacement (11) entre l'extrémité de billette (13) et la buse de refroidissement (10).
  7. Procédé selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que, lors du refroidissement de l'extrémité de billette (18), la buse de refroidissement (10) dispense une quantité de réfrigérant maximale Q = QMax sur la billette (2).
  8. Procédé selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que, après que l'extrémité de billette (18) a dépassé la buse de refroidissement (10), le refroidissement est achevé par la buse de refroidissement (10).
  9. Procédé de fonctionnement d'une machine de coulée continue (1) pendant un ralentissement passager de l'opération de coulée, dans lequel la machine de coulée continue (1) comprend une lingotière (3) et un guidage de billette (4), et le guidage de billette (4) comprend au moins une paire de rouleaux de guidage de billette (5) applicables et au moins une buse de refroidissement (10), présentant les étapes de procédé consistant à :
    - couler en continu une billette (2), dans lequel de l'acier liquide est coulé dans la lingotière (3) pour donner une billette (2) au moins partiellement solidifiée ;
    - étirer la billette (2) avec une vitesse v, dans lequel la billette (2) est étirée dans une direction de coulée (9) avec v essentiellement égale à une vitesse nominale vNenn hors de la lingotière (3) ;
    - réduire une vitesse d'apport d'acier liquide dans la lingotière (3), grâce à quoi la formation d'une pièce de transition (21) commence ;
    - étirer la billette (2) avec v < vNenn ;
    - augmenter la vitesse d'apport d'acier liquide dans la lingotière (3), grâce à quoi la formation d'une pièce de transition (21) est achevée, de sorte que la billette (2) présente un corps inférieur de billette (20a), une pièce de transition (21) et un corps supérieur de billette (20b) ;
    - étirer la billette (2) avec v ≈ vNenn ;
    - enregistrer les positions d'une extrémité inférieure (21a) et d'une extrémité supérieure (21b) de la pièce de transition (21) dans le guidage de billette (4) ;
    - avant que l'extrémité inférieure de la pièce de transition (21a) ait dépassé la paire de rouleaux de guidage de billette (5) applicables : retirer la paire de rouleaux de guidage de billette (5) applicables de la billette (2), de sorte que la paire ne touche pas la pièce de transition (21) ;
    - après que l'extrémité supérieure (21b) de la pièce de transition (21) a dépassé la paire de rouleaux de guidage de billette (5) applicables : appliquer la paire de rouleaux de guidage de billette (5) applicables sur la billette (2), de sorte que la paire touche la billette (2) ;
    - refroidir un corps de billette (20a, 20b) avec Q ≈ QNenn, dans lequel la buse de refroidissement (10) dispense une quantité de réfrigérant Q essentiellement égale à une quantité de réfrigérant nominale QNenn sur le corps de billette (20) ;
    - refroidir la pièce de transition (21) avec Q < QNenn, dans lequel la buse de refroidissement (10) dispense une quantité de réfrigérant Q < QNenn sur la pièce de transition (21).
