Abstract
Dargestellt und beschrieben ist ein Verbundwerkstoff (1, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18) in Form eines Schichtwerkstoffs aus flächigen, übereinander liegenden Schichten zum Fertigen eines Strukturbauteils (20), insbesondere für Strukturbauteile (20) eines Kraftfahrzeugs, umfassend wenigstens eine Metallschicht (2,3) und wenigstens eine faserverstärkte Kunst stoffSchicht ( 4, 4', 7, 1, 13, 15). Um bei einer Reduzierung der Bauteilkosten einerseits eine Verringerung des Gewichts und andererseits eine Steigerung der Festigkeit eines aus dem Verbundwerkstoff gefertigten Strukturbauteils erreichen zu können, ist vorgesehen, dass die faserverstärkte KunststoffSchicht (4, 4', 7, 11, 13, 15) eine Matrix auf Basis von Polypropylen, Polyethylen, Polyamid und/oder deren Mischungen aufweist.
Description
Verbundwerkstoff und Strukturbauteil für ein Kraftfahrzeug
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verbundwerkstoff in Form eines Schichtwerkstoffs aus flächigen, übereinander liegenden
Schichten zum Fertigen eines Strukturbauteils, insbesondere für Kraftfahrzeuge, durch Umformen, umfassend wenigstens eine Metallschicht und wenigstens eine faserverstärkte
Kunststoffschicht . Ferner betrifft die Erfindung ein
Strukturbauteil, das aus einem solchen Verbundwerkstoff gefertigt ist.
Für unterschiedliche Anwendungen besteht ein Bedürfnis nach Bauteilen, die ein geringes Gewicht aufweisen, ohne dass dies zu Lasten der Bauteilfestigkeit geht. So ist aus der
DE 600 11 917 T2 ein Verbundwerkstoff und ein daraus
gebildetes Strukturbauteil bekannt, die zwei metallische Decklagen aufweisen, zwischen denen eine faserverstärkte Kunststoffschicht vorgesehen ist. Ferner ist aus der
DE 102 21 582 AI ein Fahrzeugkarosseriebauteil mit einer metallischen Schicht und einer faserverstärkten
Kunststoffschicht bekannt.
Bei der Fertigung von Kraftfahrzeugen kommt sowohl der
Gewichtseinsparung als auch der Bauteilfestigkeit eine hohe Bedeutung zu. Aus Sicherheitsgründen muss dafür Sorge getragen werden, dass im bestimmungsgemäßen Betrieb ein
Bauteilversagen vermieden wird und im Falle eines Crashs hohe Kräfte aufgenommen bzw. abgeleitet werden können.
Gleichzeitig besteht insbesondere in der
Kraftfahrzeugindustrie ein hohes Kostenbewuss
die Strukturbauteile immer kostengünstiger gefertigt werden müssen. Zur Erfüllung dieser Eigenschaften besteht
hinsichtlich der bekannten Verbundwerkstoffe weiterer
Optimierungsbedarf .
Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, die eingangs genannten und zuvor näher beschriebenen
Verbundwerkstoffe und Strukturbauteile derart auszugestalten und weiterzubilden, dass bei Reduzierung der Bauteilkosten einerseits eine Verringerung des Gewichts und andererseits eine Steigerung der Festigkeit und/oder Steifigkeit des Strukturbauteils erreicht werden können.
Die zuvor genannte Aufgabe ist bei einem Verbundwerkstoff nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 dadurch gelöst, dass die faserverstärkte KunststoffSchicht eine Matrix auf Basis von Polypropylen, Polyethylen, Polyamid und/oder einer Mischung daraus aufweist. Ferner ist die zuvor genannte Aufgabe bei einem
Strukturbauteil gemäß Anspruch 15 dadurch gelöst, dass der Verbundwerkstoff ein Verbundwerkstoff nach einem der
Ansprüche 1 bis 14 ist. Die Erfindung hat erkannt, dass sich durch Verwendung einer Matrix der faserverstärkten KunststoffSchicht auf Basis von Polypropylen, Polyethylen, Polyamid und/oder deren Mischungen die Materialeigenschaften des Verbundwerkstoffs bzw. des Strukturbauteils hinsichtlich Gewichtsreduzierung einerseits sowie Festigkeitssteigerung und/oder Steifigkeitssteigerung andererseits in überraschend kostengünstiger Weise
beeinflussen lassen. Die faserverstärkte Kunststoffschicht
kann einerseits zu geringen Kosten bereitgestellt werden und erlaubt andererseits so hohe Festigkeiten und/oder
Steifigkeiten, dass die Festigkeits- und/oder
Steifigkeitsanforderungen an die metallische Schicht
abnehmen. Die metallische Schicht kann daher aus einem kostengünstigen Metall mit einer geringen Schichtdicke gebildet werden. Insgesamt ergibt sich also selbst im
Vergleich mit Verbundwerkstoffen, die eine günstigere
faserverstärkte Kunststoffschicht aufweisen, eine
Kostenersparnis für den Verbundwerkstoff und damit für das Strukturbauteil .
Ein weiterer Vorteil des Verbundwerkstoffs bzw. des
Strukturbauteils besteht darin, dass dieser bzw. dieses einer Lackierung, insbesondere einer kathodischen Tauchlackierung, unterzogen werden kann.
Als Verbundwerkstoffe im Sinne der Erfindung werden
Schichtwerkstoffe verstanden, die durch flächige,
übereinander liegende Schichten gebildet werden. Dabei weisen die Schichten vorzugsweise konstante oder wenigstens
gleichmäßige Schichtdicken auf. Vorzugsweise werden aus den Verbundwerkstoffen durch Umformen Strukturbauteile gefertigt. Als Strukturbauteile werden vorliegend beispielsweise
Fahrwerksteile, Teile des Unterbodens, Bodenbleche,
Bodengruppen, Türaufprallträger, Dachverstärkungen,
Fensterrahmenverstärkungen, Stoßfänger, Verstärkungen von A-, B- und/oder C-Säulen, A-, B- und/oder C-Säulen als solche, Instrumententafelträger, Batteriegehäuse, Tankbehälter,
Wasserkasten, Reserveradmulden etc. angesehen. Unter
Strukturbauteilen können bedarfsweise aber auch Teile der
sichtbaren Außenhaut eines Kraftfahrzeugs verstanden werden, selbst wenn diese beim bestimmungsgemäßen Betrieb des
Kraftfahrzeugs in erster Linie keine tragende Funktion haben. Insbesondere kommen jedoch aufgrund der Materialeigenschaften Strukturbauteile in Frage, die eine tragende Funktion haben und/oder zur Aufnahme und/oder Ableitung von Kräften dienen, die etwa im Falle eines Crashs auf das Fahrzeug einwirken. Als Fahrwerksteile kommen insbesondere Querträger,
Hilfsrahmen, Lenker, Schwenklager, Stabilisatoren,
Motorquerträger, Verbundlenkerachsen, Radführungsmodule und/oder Radschalen in Frage. Fahrwerksteile sind generell Bauteile, die in funktionalem Zusammenhang mit dem Fahrwerk bzw. den Fahreigenschaften des Kraftfahrzeugs und damit den Sicherheitsanforderungen für Kraftfahrzeuge stehen. Unter Kraftfahrzeugen können in diesem Zusammenhang auch
Nutzfahrzeuge, wie Lastkraftwagen, Busse und Traktoren, verstanden werden. Es kommen aber auch Schienenfahrzeuge sowie Anwendungen in der Luft- und Raumfahrt in Frage. Anwendungen des Verbundwerkstoffs bzw. entsprechender
Strukturbauteile können auch in der Gebäudetechnik,
beispielsweise in Aufzügen, aber auch in Anlagen zur Nutzung regenerativer Energie, beispielsweise Windkraft und
Solarthermie, liegen. Grundsätzlich sind alle Anwendungen denkbar, bei denen Massen bewegt und bei denen das Gewicht bei hoher Festigkeit und/oder Steifigkeit gesenkt werden soll .
Vorzugsweise ist die metallische Schicht als äußere Schicht vorgesehen, da diese die faserverstärkte KunststoffSchicht so gegen ungünstige Einwirkungen von außen, wie etwa Schlägen, erhöhten Temperaturen und dergleichen, schützen kann. Um
einen möglichst gleichmäßigen bzw. symmetrischen Kräfteverlauf im Strukturbauteil zu ermöglichen oder um die faserverstärkte Kunststoffschicht von beiden Seiten gegenüber Einwirkungen von außen schützen zu können, können zwei metallische Schichten vorgesehen sein, die dann vorzugsweise als äußere Schichten des Verbunds vorgesehen sind. Die äußeren Schichten können zudem das Umformen des
Verbundwerkstoffs zu einem Strukturbauteil günstig
beeinflussen. Bei Verwendung einer Mehrzahl von metallischen Schichten ist es aus den genannten Gründen und aus
fertigungstechnischer Sicht zweckmäßig, wenn die Mehrzahl von metallischen Schichten dieselbe Dicke und/oder denselben Werkstoff aufweisen.
Die eine metallische Schicht oder die Mehrzahl metallischer Schichten können zudem eine Sicherheitsfunktion übernehmen und einem Totalversagen des Strukturbauteils vorbeugen, wenn die faserverstärkte Kunststoffschicht bereits bei geringer Dehnung versagt.
Bei einer ersten bevorzugten Ausgestaltung des
Verbundwerkstoffs ist noch wenigstens eine faserfreie
Kunststoffschicht vorgesehen. Diese kann so ausgebildet sein, dass sie eine höhere Dehnung ertragen kann und so ebenfalls einem Totalversagen entgegenwirkt. Alternativ oder zusätzlich kann die faserfreie Kunststoffschicht auch der Absorption von Druckkräften dienen. Grundsätzlich bietet es sich an, wenn die wenigstens eine faserfreie Kunststoffschicht ebenfalls auf Polypropylen, Polyethylen, Polyamid oder Mischungen davon basiert. Dies führt zu einer Verbesserung der Eigenschaften des Verbunds und/oder der Haftung bzw. Verbindung zwischen der faserverstärkten und der faserfreien Kunststoffschicht ,
wenn diese, wie dies bevorzugt ist, angrenzend zueinander vorgesehen sind. Insbesondere ist es bevorzugt, wenn die Kunststoffe der faserfreien Kunststoffschicht und der Matrix der faserverstärkten Kunststoffschicht gleichartig oder gar identisch sind.
Die, vorzugsweise polyamidbasierte, Matrix der
faserverstärkten Kunststoffschicht und/oder die faserfreie Kunststoffschicht kann bevorzugt Polyethylen (PE) aufweisen. Polyamid (PA) und Polyethylen bilden dabei keine separaten Schichten. Es handelt sich vielmehr um einen sogenannten Blend aus den genannten Kunststoffen. Das Polyethylen
begünstigt, insbesondere wegen seiner temperaturabhängigen Eigenschaften, die Verarbeitbarkeit , insbesondere die
Umformbarkeit, des Verbundwerkstoffs. Der Anteil an
Polyethylen an der Kunststoffmatrix bzw. der
Kunststoffschicht kann 3 Gew.-% bis 40 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 5 Gew.-% bis 20 Gew.-%, betragen. Alternativ oder zusätzlich kann die Matrix der
Kunststoffschicht und/oder die faserfreie Kunststoffschicht Styrol-Maleinsäure-Anhydrid (SMA) aufweisen, um die
Hafteigenschaften der entsprechenden Schicht zu verbessern. Dies ist insbesondere dann der Fall, wenn dem Polyamid weitere Komponenten, wie Polyethylen, zugegeben werden, die eine verminderte Hafteigenschaft aufweisen. Hinsichtlich der Haftung kann insbesondere die Haftung an der metallischen Schicht problematisch sein. Auch kann durch Zugabe von
Styrol-Maleinsäure-Anhydrid eine Entmischung und damit eine gleichmäßigere Verteilung einer weiteren Komponente im
Polyamid verbessert werden. Dies ist insbesondere im Hinblick auf zugegebenes Polyethylen der Fall. Der Anteil an Styrol-
Maleinsäure-Anhydrid an der Kunststoffmatrix bzw. der
KunststoffSchicht kann 0,5 Gew.-% bis 10 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise
0,5 Gew.-% bis 5 Gew.-%, betragen. Der Anteil der Fasern der wenigstens einen faserverstärkten Kunststoffschicht kann bezogen auf die faserverstärkte
Kunststoffschicht bis zu 65 Vol.-% und bezogen auf den
Verbundwerkstoff zwischen 5 Vol . -% und 40 Vol.-%,
vorzugsweise zwischen 5 Vol.-% und 20 Vol.-%, insbesondere zwischen 5 Vol.-% und 15 Vol.-%, betragen, um eine gute
Festigkeit, Steifigkeit und/oder Verarbeitbarkeit des
Verbundwerkstoffs zu erreichen.
Als Fasern der faserverstärkten Kunststoffschicht kommen anorganische Fasern, organische Fasern und/oder
Kunststofffasern in Frage, und zwar jeweils in Abhängigkeit der gewünschten Eigenschaften. Als anorganische Fasern können bevorzugt Glasfasern, Borfasern und Basaltfasern Verwendung finden, während als organische Fasern insbesondere
Kohlefasern und Proteinfasern in Frage kommen. Als
Kunststofffaser bieten sich Aramidfasern oder
Polyethylenfasern an.
Darüber hinaus können die Eigenschaften des Verbundwerkstoffs bzw. des Strukturbauteils durch die Art der Anordnung der
Fasern in der Matrix der faserverstärkten Kunststoffschicht eingestellt werden. Ganz grundsätzlich kann die Anordnung isotrop oder anisotrop sein, etwa weil die Zugfestigkeit isotrop oder anisotrop sein soll. Die Fasern können dazu stochastisch verteilt oder geordnet, vorzugsweise als Gelege, Gewirk, Gewebe, Vlies und/oder unidirektionale Lagen in der faserverstärkten Kunststoffschicht vorliegen. Insbesondere
bei unidirektionalen Lagen kann in Vorzugsrichtung der Fasern eine maximale Zugfestigkeit von, insbesondere auf Zug beanspruchten, Strukturbauteilen eingestellt werden. Außerdem lassen sich, insbesondere komplexe, Strukturbauteile ohne Schwierigkeiten durch umformen fertigen, wenn die Fasern unidirektional ausgerichtet sind und Abkantungen im
Wesentlichen parallel zur Ausrichtung der Fasern verlaufen.
Es bietet sich aufgrund der Materialeigenschaften und der Kosten an, wenn die wenigstens eine Metallschicht aus einem Stahl, beispielsweise Kohlenstoffstahl oder Edelstahl, oder einem Aluminiumwerkstoff besteht. Aluminium ist gegenüber Stahl nicht hinsichtlich der Kosten aber hinsichtlich des Gewichts bevorzugt.
Aufgrund der hohen Zugfestigkeit der faserverstärkten
Kunststoffschicht reicht es aus, wenn die Metallschicht eine Zugfestigkeit aufweist, die maximal der Zugfestigkeit der faserverstärkten Kunststoffschicht entspricht, insbesondere maximal 700 MPa, vorzugsweise maximal 650 MPa und besonders bevorzugt weniger als 450 MPa aufweist. Je geringer die Zugfestigkeitsanforderungen an die metallische Schicht sind, desto mehr kann auf kostengünstigeres Metall zurückgegriffen werden. Bevorzugt können in diesem Zusammenhang die
Stahlgüten DX 56, HX 220 BD, HC 340 LA und HCT 600 X sein.
Aufgrund der hohen Zugfestigkeit der faserverstärkten
Kunststoffschicht können alternativ oder zusätzlich sehr dünne Metallschichten vorgesehen werden, die eine Dicke zwischen 0,1 mm und 1 mm, vorzugsweise maximal 0,75 mm, aufweisen können.
Zur Einsparung von Metall und damit von Gewicht und/oder Kosten kann die wenigstens eine Metallschicht Ausnehmungen, Einprägungen und/oder Öffnungen aufweisen. Diese sind dann vorzugsweise gleichmäßig über die Metallschicht verteilt angeordnet.
Zur Einsparung von Metall und damit von Gewicht und/oder Kosten kann die wenigstens eine Metallschicht alternativ einen Anteil von maximal 50 Vol.-% bezogen auf den
Verbundwerkstoff aufweisen. Alternativ oder zusätzlich kann vorgesehen sein, dass die Querschnitte des Verbundwerkstoffs einen maximalen Metallanteil von 50% aufweisen.
Um das Gewicht und die Kosten des Verbundwerkstoffs insgesamt gering zu halten, kann die Gesamtdicke des Verbundwerkstoffs zwischen 0,5 mm und 4,0 mm, insbesondere zwischen 1,0 mm und 3,0 mm, betragen.
Eine verbesserte Haftung zwischen Metall und Kunststoff im Verbundwerkstoff kann erreicht werden, wenn angrenzend zu der faserverstärkten oder faserfreien Kunststoffschicht
einerseits und der wenigstens einen Metallschicht
andererseits eine Haftvermittlerschicht, insbesondere mit einer Dicke von 0,01 mm und 0,05 mm, vorgesehen ist.
Die Vorteile der Erfindung ergeben sich exemplarisch anhand der nachfolgend beschriebenen Beispiele.
Beispiel 1
Die Zugfestigkeiten eines Verbundwerkstoffs mit zwei äußeren metallischen Schichten der Dicke t = 0,25 mm, zwei an die
metallischen Schichten angrenzenden faserverstärkten
Kunststoffschichten der Dicke t = 0,25 mm und einer mittleren faserfreien Kunststoffschicht der Dicke t = 0,5 mm ergeben sich rechnerisch anhand der Querschnittsverhältnisse
(Mischungsformel) für metallische Schichten gemäß Tabelle 1 die in Tabelle 2 angegebenen Zugfestigkeiten Rm.
Die faserverstärkte Kunststoffschicht weist eine
Polyamidmatrix und ein Gewebe mit rechtwinklig zueinander verlaufenden Kohlenstofffasern und einem Faseranteil von 45 Vol.-% auf. Die Zugfestigkeit und die Dichte der
faserverstärkten Kunststoffschicht betragen Rm = 785 MPa und p = 1,43 g/cm3. Die Zugfestigkeit der faserfreien
Kunststoffschicht aus Polyamid ist bei der Berechnung nicht berücksichtigt worden.

Für einen Verbundwerkstoff der Schichtdicke t = 1,5 mm mit zwei äußeren metallischen Schichten, einer mittleren polyamidbasierten, faserverstärkten Kunststoffschicht und zwei polyamidbasierten, faserfreien Kunststoffschichten zwischen den metallischen Schichten ergeben sich rechnerisch die in den Tabellen 3 und 4 angegebenen Zugfestigkeiten in Abhängigkeit der Schichtdicken der einzelnen metallischen Schichten tMs einerseits und der faserverstärkten
Kunststoffschicht tFK andererseits . Die Materialien der metallischen Schichten und der faserverstärkten
Kunststoffschicht entsprechen denen von Beispiel 1. Die Zugfestigkeit der faserfreien Kunststoffschicht aus Polyamid ist bei der Berechnung nicht berücksichtigt worden.

Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand einer lediglich
Ausführungsbeispiele darstellenden Zeichnung näher erläutert. In der Zeichnung zeigt Fig. 1-8 Schichtaufbauten von acht Ausführungsbeispielen des erfindungsgemäßen Verbundwerkstoffs in
schematischer Darstellung und
Fig. 9 ein Ausführungsbeispiel des erfindungsgemäßen
Strukturbauteils in perspektivischer Darstellung.
In der Fig. 1 ist ein Schichtaufbau eines Verbundwerkstoffs dargestellt, der zwei äußere metallische Schichten 2,3 als äußere Decklagen aufweist. Angrenzend zu den metallischen
Schichten 2,3 sind faserverstärkte Kunststoffschichten 4,4' vorgesehen, die aus einem einer polyamidbasierten Matrix und einem darin eingebrachten Fasergelege besteht. Von den faserverstärkten KunstStoffschichten 4,4' eingeschlossen ist eine Kernschicht in Form einer faserfreien KunststoffSchicht 5 vorgesehen.
In der Fig. 2 ist ein Schichtaufbau eines Verbundwerkstoffs 6 dargestellt, der zwei äußere metallische Schichten 2,3 als äußere Decklagen aufweist. Angrenzend zu den metallischen Schichten 2,3 sind bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel zwei faserfreie KunstStoffschichten 5,5' vorgesehen, die
ihrerseits von beiden Seiten an eine faserverstärkte
Kunststoffschicht 7 grenzen. Die faserverstärkte
Kunststoffschicht 7 weist eine Polyamidmatrix und ein Gewebe mit rechtwinklig zueinander verlaufenden Kohlenstofffasern und einem Faseranteil von 45 Vol.-% auf. Die Zugfestigkeit und die Dichte der faserverstärkten Kunststoffschicht
betragen Rm = 785 MPa und p = 1,43 g/cm3.
In der Fig. 3 ist ein Schichtaufbau eines Verbundwerkstoffs 8 dargestellt, der zwei äußere metallische Schichten 2,3 als äußere Decklagen aufweist. Angrenzend zu den metallischen Schichten 2,3 sind bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel zwei faserfreie Kunststoffschichten 5,5' vorgesehen, die
ihrerseits von beiden Seiten an eine faserverstärkte
Kunststoffschicht 4 grenzen. Die faserverstärkte
Kunststoffschicht 4 wird in diesem Fall durch ein Fasergelege in einer polyamidbasierten Matrix gebildet.
In der Fig. 4 ist ein Schichtaufbau eines Verbundwerkstoffs 10 dargestellt, der zwei äußere metallische Schichten 2,3 als
äußere Decklagen aufweist. Zwischen den beiden äußeren
Decklagen befindet sich eine Kernschicht aus einem
faserverstärkten Kunststoff 11. Dabei besteht die Matrix aus einem polyamidbasierten Kunststoff, in dem in einer
Vorzugsrichtung ausgerichtete Kurzfasern verteilt sind.
In der Fig. 5 ist ein Schichtaufbau eines Verbundwerkstoffs 12 dargestellt, der zwei äußere metallische Schichten 2,3 als äußere Decklagen aufweist. Zwischen den beiden äußeren
Decklagen befindet sich eine Kernschicht aus einem
faserverstärkten Kunststoff 13. Dabei besteht die Matrix aus einem polyamidbasierten Kunststoff, in dem Fasern
stochastisch verteilt vorgesehen sind. In der Fig. 6 ist ein Schichtaufbau eines Verbundwerkstoffs
14 dargestellt, der zwei äußere metallische Schichten 2,3 als äußere Decklagen aufweist. Zwischen den beiden äußeren
Decklagen befindet sich eine Kernschicht, die aus drei separaten, aneinander haftenden Lagen faserverstärkter
Kunststoffschichten 15 zusammengesetzt ist. Die Lagen faserverstärkter Kunststoffschichten 15 können hinsichtlich der polyamidbasierten Matrix und hinsichtlich der Art und Anordnung des Fasermaterials wahlweise identisch oder unterschiedlich aufgebaut sein.
In der Fig. 7 ist ein Schichtaufbau eines Verbundwerkstoffs 16 gemäß Beispiel 1 dargestellt. Die äußeren Decklagen werden durch identische metallische Schichten 2,3 mit Schichtdicken von jeweils 0,25 mm gebildet. An den Innenseiten der äußeren Decklagen sind faserverstärkte Kunststoffschichten 7,7' mit Schichtdicken von ebenfalls jeweils 0,25 mm angeordnet, die über Haftvermittler 17 mit den metallischen Schichten
verbunden sind. Die faserverstärkte KunstStoffschicht 7,7' weist in diesem Fall eine Polyamidmatrix und ein Gewebe mit rechtwinklig zueinander verlaufenden Kohlenstofffasern und einem Faseranteil von 45 Vol.-% auf. Die Zugfestigkeit und die Dichte der faserverstärkten Kunststoffschichten 7,7' betragen Rm = 785 MPa und p = 1,43 g/cm3. Die Kernschicht wird durch eine 0,5 mm dicke, faserfreie, Polyamidschicht 5 gebildet. Da der Kunststoff der faserverstärkten
Kunststoffschichten 7,7' und der faserfreien
KunststoffSchicht 5 gleichartig, wenn nicht gar identisch ist, haften die Kunststoffschichten 5,7,7' ohne Verwendung eines Haftvermittlers aneinander.
In der Fig. 8 ist ein Schichtaufbau eines Verbundwerkstoffs 18 gemäß Beispiel 2 dargestellt. Die äußeren Decklagen werden durch identische metallische Schichten 2,3 mit Schichtdicken von jeweils 0,5 mm oder 0,75 mm gebildet. An den Innenseiten der äußeren Decklagen sind faserfreie Polyamidschichten 5,5' vorgesehen, die ohne Verwendung eines Haftvermittlers an den metallischen Schichten 2,3 haften. Die Kernschicht wird durch eine faserverstärkte polyamidbasierte Kunststoffschicht 7 gebildet. Die faserverstärkte Kunststoffschicht 7 weist eine Polyamidmatrix und ein Gewebe mit rechtwinklig zueinander verlaufenden Kohlenstofffasern und einem Faseranteil von 45 Vol.-% auf. Die Zugfestigkeit und die Dichte der
faserverstärkten Kunststoffschicht 7 betragen Rm = 785 MPa und p = 1,43 g/cm3. Da der Kunststoff der faserverstärkten Kunststoffschicht 7 und der faserfreien Kunststoffschichten 5,5' gleichartig, wenn nicht gar identisch, ist, haften die Kunststoffschichten ohne Verwendung eines Haftvermittlers aneinander .
In der Fig. 9 ist ein aus einem Verbundwerkstoff der zuvor beschriebenen Art durch Umformung gebildetes Strukturbauteil 20 dargestellt. Im vorliegenden Fall handelt es sich um eine Tunnelverstärkung .
Claims
Patentansprüche
Verbundwerkstoff (1,6,8,10,12,14,16,18) in Form eines Schichtwerkstoffs aus flächigen, übereinander liegenden Schichten zum Fertigen eines Strukturbauteils (20), umfassend wenigstens eine Metallschicht (2,3) und wenigstens eine faserverstärkte Kunststoffschicht
(4, 4', 7, 11, 13, 15) ,
d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s die faserverstärkte Kunststoffschicht ( 4 , 4 ' , 7 , 11 , 13 , 15 ) eine Matrix auf Basis von Polypropylen, Polyethylen, Polyamid und/oder deren Mischungen aufweist.
Verbundwerkstoff nach Anspruch 1,
d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s wenigstens eine polyamidbasierte, faserfreie
Kunststoffschicht (5,5') vorgesehen ist.
Verbundwerkstoff nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s die Matrix der wenigstens einen faserverstärkten
Kunststoffschicht ( 4 , 4 ' , 7 , 11 , 13 , 15 ) und/oder die wenigstens eine faserfreie Kunststoffschicht (5,5') Polyethylen aufweist.
Verbundwerkstoff nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s die Matrix der wenigstens einen faserverstärkten
Kunststoffschicht ( 4 , 4 ' , 7 , 11 , 13 , 15 ) und/oder die wenigstens eine faserfreie Kunststoffschicht (5,5') Styrol-Maleinsäure-Anhydrid (SMA) aufweist.
Verbundwerkstoff nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c n e t , d a s s der Anteil der Fasern der wenigstens einen
faserverstärkten KunstStoffSchicht ( 4 , 4 ' , 7 , 11 , 13 , 15 ) am Verbundwerkstoff zwischen 5 Vol.-% und 40 Vol.-%, insbesondere zwischen 5 Vol.-% und 20 Vol.-%, beträgt.
Verbundwerkstoff nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s die wenigstens eine faserverstärkte Kunststoffschicht ( 4 , 4 ' , 7 , 11 , 13 , 15 ) anorganische Fasern, wie Glasfasern, und Borfasern, organische Fasern wie Kohlefasern und Proteinfasern, und/oder Kunststofffasern, wie
Aramidfasern, Polyethylenfasern, aufweist.
Verbundwerkstoff nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s der Anteil der Fasern der wenigstens einen
faserverstärkten Kunststoffschicht (4, 4', 7, 15) als Gelege, Gewirk, Gewebe, unidirektionale Lage vorliegt.
Verbundwerkstoff nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s die wenigstens eine Metallschicht (2,3) aus einem Stahl oder einem Aluminiumwerkstoff besteht.
Verbundwerkstoff nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s die wenigstens eine Metallschicht (2,3) eine
Zugfestigkeit von weniger als 450 MPa aufweist.
Verbundwerkstoff nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s die wenigstens eine Metallschicht (2,3) eine Dicke zwischen 0,1 mm und 1 mm, vorzugsweise maximal 0,75 mm, aufweist .
Verbundwerkstoff nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s die wenigstens eine Metallschicht (2,3) Ausnehmungen, Einprägungen und/oder Öffnungen aufweist.
Verbundwerkstoff nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s die wenigstens eine Metallschicht (2,3) einen Anteil von höchstens 50 Vol.-% bezogen auf den Verbundwerkstoff aufweist .
Verbundwerkstoff nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s der Verbundwerkstoff (1,6,8,10,12,14,16,18) eine
Gesamtdicke zwischen 0,5 mm und 4,0 mm, insbesondere zwischen 1,0 mm und 3,0 mm, aufweist.
Verbundwerkstoff nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 13, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s angrenzend zu der faserverstärkten oder faserfreien Kunststoffschicht ( 4 , 4 ' , 5 , 5 ' , 7 , 11 , 13 , 15 ) einerseits und der wenigstens einen Metallschicht (2,3) andererseits eine Haftvermittlerschicht (17), insbesondere mit einer Dicke von 0,01 mm und 0,05 mm, vorgesehen ist.
Strukturbauteil (20) , insbesondere eines Kraftfahrzeugs gefertigt aus einem Verbundwerkstoff,
d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , d a s s der Verbundwerkstoff ein Verbundwerkstoff (1,6,8,10,12, 14,16,18) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 14 ist.
