Definitions
- the invention relates to a vehicle for the transport of plate-like material in at least substantially upright position, in particular for the transport of flat glass panes or flat glass disc packages, between an elongated bottom support comprehensive storage rack and a transport container, comprising a motor drive comprehensive, wheeled chassis, and a carrier which comprises at least two support projections, whose horizontal distance is variable, wherein the carrier from a driving position about symmetrical to the central longitudinal axis of the vehicle in a laterally about at least the horizontal extent of the plate-shaped Guts on the chassis laterally outstanding receiving / dispensing position is displaced.
- the parcels regularly surround frames surrounding these edges, which are usually made of wooden slats.
- the cross-section of these wooden slats is dimensioned so that the narrow sides of a packed into a package Stack of plate-shaped material, in particular of flat glass sheets is completely covered, in other words: the thickness of the strips at least equal to the thickness of the stack.
- a transport of a flat glass pane or a flat glass package is done with this vehicle by the vehicle first in the vicinity of a flat glass plate or a flat glass package with the vertical axis about which the telescopic arm is pivotally mounted on the chassis, as perpendicular to the disc or the Package is positioned. Subsequently, the carrier is aligned by pivoting about its vertical axis so that it runs parallel to the surface of the disc or the package. Thereafter, the telescopic arm is extended until the carrier is in contact with the disc or the package and the two supporting projections engage around the lateral edges. Then the distance between the two support projections is reduced until they clamp the disc or the package between them.
- projections are laterally provided on the vertical edges of the frame, which are engaged by the supporting projections.
- These projections are usually wooden blocks that are nailed at about the same height near the top of the frame.
- the vehicle is now placed near the door of the container.
- the introduction of the disc or the package in the container then takes place by first brought by pivoting the telescopic arm about its horizontal axis, the disc or the package in the appropriate height and then by extending the telescopic arm, with possibly simultaneous pivoting, in the container is shifted into and deposed.
- a removal of a disc or a package from a container takes place in the reverse manner.
- a disadvantage of this vehicle is that raising or lowering takes place both in the container, as well as on the shelf with extended telescopic arm. Because this puts the operator at a great distance from the carrier, which on the one hand the detection of the current position of the carrier and disc or package is difficult and on the other hand by the long, formed by the extended telescopic arm lever already low angular displacements about the axes to which he pivotally hinged to the chassis, lead to a relatively large positional displacement of the carrier.
- the operation of this vehicle is therefore regularly possible only with the help of a second person who is in the vicinity of the disc or the package and informs the operator of the vehicle about the current position of the carrier.
- the second person is exposed to significant dangers due to possible overturning or falling of a disc or a package.
- the DE 30 46 027 A1 is a lift truck with a vertical mast known. At this mast, a load carrier and an overhead load carrier arranged above it are movable up and down.
- the additional load carrier comprises a load-receiving device whose range of action is increased on both sides beyond the forklift contour with the aid of a telescopically extendable support arm.
- the load-receiving device comprises clamp jaws, between which a load can be clamped. This load-receiving device is used to remove individual articles of a stack from above and set down one after the other on a load carrier. For transporting plate-shaped material in at least substantially upright position of this lift truck is not provided.
- the DE 30 46 027 A1 discloses the preamble of claim 1.
- the JP 2002 061293 A discloses a vehicle by means of which containers can be stacked on a shelf comprehensive shelves. There are Auffahrrampen and intermediate pieces disclosed by means of which the vehicle can run over the bottom strips in the transverse direction.
- the invention is therefore based on the object to improve a vehicle of the type mentioned in terms of the problems mentioned.
- the chassis is designed to pass over the bottom support in the longitudinal direction thereof, for which the suspension of the wheels is selected such that the ground clearance prevents contact between the ground and the carrier. For this reason, the vehicle for removal or delivery of the plate-shaped Guts, in particular the flat glass plate or the flat glass disc package, be driven into the immediate vicinity of the estate. The operator can thus be closer to the carrier when receiving or delivering the plate-shaped product, so that the operation of the vehicle according to the invention is facilitated. To drive exactly with the wheels between the bottom support and align the chassis relative to the plate-shaped Good so that the carrier extends at least almost exactly parallel to the plane of the plate-shaped Guts, all wheels are arranged steerable.
- the chassis is designed as a so-called "four-way or multi-way suspension".
- the chassis can thus be moved in mutually perpendicular directions, without the need for cornering. It is therefore special also suitable for use between closely spaced rows of shelves.
- the distance must only be slightly larger than the total length of the vehicle according to the invention.
- the vehicle Due to the possibility of changing the direction of the vehicle without cornering, it can be driven even under very confined space in a position immediately adjacent to the container, in which a delivery of the plate-shaped Guts, especially the flat glass plate or the flat glass package only by a lateral shifting out of the carrier and subsequent settling on the bottom of the container can take place.
- the floor of the vehicle is at least almost flat.
- the vehicle comprises two front wheels and a rear wheel, and the lateral spacing of the front wheels and the position of the rear wheel are chosen such that the wheels have a sufficient distance between the floor supports when the vehicle is moved in symmetrically to the floor beams in order to be steered.
- the vehicle thus requires neither a telescopic arm which is arranged pivotably about a vertical and a horizontal axis on the chassis, nor the carrier must be mounted displaceable about a horizontal and a vertical axis on the telescoping arm.
- the vehicle - as preferred - comprise an at least substantially vertical mast on which the carrier is arranged to be displaced approximately in the vertical direction.
- the mast can be arranged rigidly on the front area of the vehicle viewed in the forward direction of travel.
- the vehicle comprises an operator's station, which is seen laterally offset in the forward direction, particularly preferably immediately behind the mast and relative to the central longitudinal axis of the vehicle in that direction laterally displaced, in which the carrier is laterally displaceable. Due to this measure, the operator is both in the receiving / dispensing position of the vehicle on the shelf, as well as in the receiving / dispensing position on the container in the greatest possible proximity to the carrier, so that the vehicle can be controlled in a particularly targeted. A second person giving driving instructions is therefore not required on a regular basis.
- the operator is behind the mast in an area where it is regularly protected from overturning or falling down plate-shaped Good.
- the carrier from the driving position laterally in both directions about at least the horizontal extent of the plate-shaped Guts on the chassis laterally protruding receiving / dispensing positions is displaced, and in which preferably two control positions are provided, which are arranged on both sides of the central longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
- This vehicle is equally suitable for right-side, as seen in the forward direction of travel, as well as left-side picking or dispensing plate-like material on or in the container.
- the operating positions are arranged in a height-adjustable manner.
- At least substantially horizontally extending rail arrangement may be provided along which the carrier is arranged displaceably.
- the rail arrangement has at least two horizontal rail parts displaceable relative to each other.
- the good is tilted against a previously introduced or against a shelf or container wall. It is therefore advantageous to provide on the support at least one cooperating with a flat side of the plate-shaped Guts support surface with which the plate-shaped Good can then be tilted accordingly.
- the support surface is preferably arranged tiltable from a vertical orientation about an axis extending transversely to the forward direction axis.
- the illustrated in the drawing embodiment of a vehicle 100 according to the invention is used in particular for the transport of flat glass disc packages 1, which are surrounded on the narrow side by a frame 2.
- the frame 2 is usually assembled from wooden slats. It comprises in its upright position in the upper region lateral projections 3, 3 ', the support projections 4, 4', whose structure and operation will be described below, can be under attack.
- the vehicle 100 comprises a chassis 5 with two symmetrical to the central longitudinal axis L of the vehicle 100 (s. Fig. 5 ) symmetrically arranged front wheels 6, 6 'and with a centrally arranged rear wheel 7.
- the front wheels 6, 6' are formed as twin wheels. All wheels are rotationally driven and can be steered through 360 ° so that the direction of travel of the vehicle can be changed without cornering.
- a vertical mast 9 When viewed in the forward direction of travel front area 8 of the vehicle 100 is approximately vertically above the front wheels 6, 6 ', a vertical mast 9 is rigidly arranged. It serves for the attachment of a carrier 10, which can be displaced in the vertical direction, to which in turn the supporting projections 4, 4 'are attached.
- an upright shield assembly 11 When viewed in the forward direction behind the mast 9 an upright shield assembly 11 is attached to the chassis. Behind this protection plate arrangement, two operating positions 12, 12 'are provided on both sides offset from the central longitudinal axis L, from which all functions of the vehicle can alternatively be operated. An operator 13 can do that for her Select more favorable operating conditions according to visibility, as indicated by the in Fig. 2 shown dashed lines operator 13 'should be symbolized. In order to ensure sufficient visibility for the operator 13, 13 'even when the flat glass pane package is lifted, the operating stations 12, 12' are arranged to be displaceable in the vertical direction, as symbolized by the arrow Z. In this case, the protective disk assembly 11 is displaced with, so that the effected by the protective disk assembly 11 protection for the operator is maintained even with raised operator levels.
- the vehicle 100 is used in particular to flat glass disk packages 1 between a shelf support 14 comprehensive shelf, which are fixed to the substrate U and on which the flat glass disk packages 1 are deposited in approximately upright position (in Fig. 1 indicated by dashed lines below), and a container 15 (s. Fig. 6 and 7 ) to transport.
- Fig. 1 and 2 the vehicle 100 is shown in an operating state in which it has lifted the flat glass pane package 1 from the floor supports 14 with the aid of the carrier 10.
- the chassis 5 of the vehicle 100 is designed such that it is suitable for driving over the bottom support 14.
- the bottom 16 of the chassis 5 is formed almost flat and the suspension of the wheels 6, 6 ', 7 chosen so that the ground clearance prevents contact of the bottom 16 and support 14.
- the lateral distance of the front wheels X and the position of the rear wheel 7 is selected so that the wheels symmetrically in between the bottom support 14 retracted vehicle (in Fig. 2 shown) to the floor beams 14 have a sufficient distance in order to be able to be steered.
- ground clearance-changing measures for example wheels with different suspension
- distance between the front wheels for example the configuration of the chassis so that the front wheels together with and steering devices can be mounted in different positions
- the sheet glass package 1 has been raised, as in the Fig. 1 and 2 shown, the vehicle is substantially parallel to the floor beams 14 backwards, ie according to Fig. 1 completely pulled out to the right out of the space between the floor beams 14.
- the vehicle 100 which is designed as a four-way vehicle due to the 360 ° steerability of its wheels 6, 6 ', 7, be moved to the location of a container 15 even without cornering.
- the vehicle 100 is positioned on the container so that it is parallel to the door-side end face 18 of the container with one of its sides 17, 17 ', here with the right side 17 seen in the direction of travel.
- a delivery of the flat glass disc package 1 to the container 15 is effected in that the flat glass disc package 1 from his in the Fig. 1 and 2 illustrated driving position in which it is located approximately symmetrically to the central longitudinal axis L of the vehicle 100, displaced perpendicular to the central longitudinal axis L according to the forward direction to the right into the container 15 and then discontinued by lowering the carrier 10 to the bottom of the container 15.
- the operator can use the right-hand operator 12, seen in the forward direction of travel, when the visibility is best.
- the carrier 10 seen in the forward direction not only to the right ( Fig. 3 ), but also to the left ( Fig. 5 ) are displaced out, and by a distance S, which is greater than the horizontal extent H of the flat glass disc package.
- the carrier 10 is mounted on a height adjustable mounted on the mast 9 rail assembly 19, in particular in the Fig. 8 to 10 is shown in detail.
- the rail arrangement comprises a first part 20, which is displaceable in the vertical direction, but mounted in a horizontal direction fixed to the mast.
- the vertical adjustment can be done in a conventional manner, for example by means of traction means or spindle drives.
- a second part 21 is arranged displaceable in the horizontal direction.
- a plurality of wheels 22, 22 ' are provided on the second part 21, which run in C-shaped profiles 23, 23', which are fastened to the first part 20.
- For intercepting horizontal force components engages the second part 21 with a T-section 24 in an approximately complementary, in cross-section C-shaped groove 25 of the first part 20 a.
- the third part 26 comprises two horizontally extending, vertically spaced T-beams 27, 27 ', which in the horizontal direction displaceable in approximately complementary trained, in cross-section C-shaped grooves 28, 28' engage.
- a rotary motor 29, 29 ' is arranged at each end region of the second part 21, the axis of rotation of which is oriented perpendicular to the direction of displacement.
- Each rotary motor comprises a gear 30, 30 ', which engages with a linear toothing 31 of the first part 20 and / or - depending on the position of the parts 20, 21, 26 relative to each other - in engagement with a provided on the third part 26 linear toothing 31 'is located.
- each a sprocket 32, 32 'of identical size of which, however, in Fig. 8 Sprocket shown on the left of a chain 33 merely indicated in the drawing, which is also guided around as an endless chain in the sprocket 32 ', is covered.
- the sprocket 32 ' is not recognizable due to the third part 26 located in front of it.
- the circulating chain 33 causes the two rotary motors 29, 29 'inevitably run synchronously.

Description
The invention relates to a vehicle for the transport of plate-like material in at least substantially upright position, in particular for the transport of flat glass panes or flat glass disc packages, between an elongated bottom support comprehensive storage rack and a transport container, comprising a motor drive comprehensive, wheeled chassis, and a carrier which comprises at least two support projections, whose horizontal distance is variable, wherein the carrier from a driving position about symmetrical to the central longitudinal axis of the vehicle in a laterally about at least the horizontal extent of the plate-shaped Guts on the chassis laterally outstanding receiving / dispensing position is displaced.

It is known to pack for transport plate-shaped material, in particular flat glass panes, packages to transport them in containers.
So that the delicate edges, in particular of the flat glass panes, are not damaged during transport, the parcels regularly surround frames surrounding these edges, which are usually made of wooden slats. The cross-section of these wooden slats is dimensioned so that the narrow sides of a packed into a package Stack of plate-shaped material, in particular of flat glass sheets is completely covered, in other words: the thickness of the strips at least equal to the thickness of the stack.
It is known to store flat glass panes before being loaded into a container for the purpose of long distance transport, for example, from a manufacturing facility to a processor, almost upright on shelves. Because of the high weight of the flat glass panes, which are regularly packed in these shelves already a plurality of flat glass disc packages and surrounded by the frame, these shelves comprise arranged at the bottom, spaced apart and parallel aligned floor beams on which the transverse to this lower Support the edges of the flat glass panes or flat glass pane packages.
For loading and unloading at least one of the end faces of the containers used for transport as a door, usually designed as a centrally divided wing door. For the purpose of maximizing space utilization, flat glass panes or flat glass pane packages are transported in almost upright position and with the lower edges supported directly on the container bottom.
The introduction of a flat glass pane or a flat glass pane package is carried out by successively slices or packages are inserted in an almost upright position in the container. Here, there is the problem that the discs or packages can not be supported from below at its lower edge, since they must be discontinued directly on the container floor.
A transport of a flat glass pane or a flat glass package is done with this vehicle by the vehicle first in the vicinity of a flat glass plate or a flat glass package with the vertical axis about which the telescopic arm is pivotally mounted on the chassis, as perpendicular to the disc or the Package is positioned. So that in a subsequent lifting by pivoting of the telescopic arm to the horizontal, the disc or the package can not slip out between the supporting projections, projections are laterally provided on the vertical edges of the frame, which are engaged by the supporting projections. These projections are usually wooden blocks that are nailed at about the same height near the top of the frame.
After lifting the telescopic arm is retracted and pivoted about the vertical axis, that it points approximately in the forward direction. The carrier is then pivoted about its vertical axis by about 90 ° so that it and thus the disc or the package is aligned approximately parallel to the longitudinal direction of the telescopic arm.
The vehicle is now placed near the door of the container. The introduction of the disc or the package in the container then takes place by first brought by pivoting the telescopic arm about its horizontal axis, the disc or the package in the appropriate height and then by extending the telescopic arm, with possibly simultaneous pivoting, in the container is shifted into and deposed.
A removal of a disc or a package from a container takes place in the reverse manner.
A disadvantage of this vehicle is that raising or lowering takes place both in the container, as well as on the shelf with extended telescopic arm. The operation of this vehicle is therefore regularly possible only with the help of a second person who is in the vicinity of the disc or the package and informs the operator of the vehicle about the current position of the carrier. In addition to the undesirable increase in staff costs is of very significant drawback that the second person is exposed to significant dangers due to possible overturning or falling of a disc or a package.
In addition, caused by the extended telescopic arm, long angle causes a large tilting moment acts on the vehicle. So that it exhibits a sufficiently stable stability and driving behavior, at least when the telescopic arm points approximately in the forward direction of travel, the telescopic arm and a control station pivoting about it with the vertical axis are arranged in the rear region of the vehicle. However, this again increases the distance between the operator and the carrier in its receiving / dispensing position, whereby the above-mentioned problem is amplified.

The invention is therefore based on the object to improve a vehicle of the type mentioned in terms of the problems mentioned.
This object is achieved by the reproduced in claim 1 vehicle.
In the vehicle according to the invention, the chassis is designed to pass over the bottom support in the longitudinal direction thereof, for which the suspension of the wheels is selected such that the ground clearance prevents contact between the ground and the carrier. The chassis is designed as a so-called "four-way or multi-way suspension". The chassis can thus be moved in mutually perpendicular directions, without the need for cornering. It is therefore special also suitable for use between closely spaced rows of shelves. The distance must only be slightly larger than the total length of the vehicle according to the invention. Once the wheels have moved out of the space between the floor beams, they can be rotated by 90 ° and thus the vehicle can be driven along the corridor between two rows of shelves. Due to the possibility of changing the direction of the vehicle without cornering, it can be driven even under very confined space in a position immediately adjacent to the container, in which a delivery of the plate-shaped Guts, especially the flat glass plate or the flat glass package only by a lateral shifting out of the carrier and subsequent settling on the bottom of the container can take place.
According to the invention, the floor of the vehicle is at least almost flat.
According to the invention, the vehicle comprises two front wheels and a rear wheel, and the lateral spacing of the front wheels and the position of the rear wheel are chosen such that the wheels have a sufficient distance between the floor supports when the vehicle is moved in symmetrically to the floor beams in order to be steered.
Due to the inventive design, the vehicle thus requires neither a telescopic arm which is arranged pivotably about a vertical and a horizontal axis on the chassis, nor the carrier must be mounted displaceable about a horizontal and a vertical axis on the telescoping arm. Rather, the vehicle - as preferred - comprise an at least substantially vertical mast on which the carrier is arranged to be displaced approximately in the vertical direction.
The mast can be arranged rigidly on the front area of the vehicle viewed in the forward direction of travel.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the vehicle comprises an operator's station, which is seen laterally offset in the forward direction, particularly preferably immediately behind the mast and relative to the central longitudinal axis of the vehicle in that direction laterally displaced, in which the carrier is laterally displaceable. In addition, the operator is behind the mast in an area where it is regularly protected from overturning or falling down plate-shaped Good.
Especially preferred is an embodiment of the vehicle according to the invention, in which the carrier from the driving position laterally in both directions about at least the horizontal extent of the plate-shaped Guts on the chassis laterally protruding receiving / dispensing positions is displaced, and in which preferably two control positions are provided, which are arranged on both sides of the central longitudinal axis of the vehicle. This vehicle is equally suitable for right-side, as seen in the forward direction of travel, as well as left-side picking or dispensing plate-like material on or in the container. This is particularly advantageous as a container initially loaded from a side wall under supporting plate-shaped Guts on this side wall gradually to about the middle of the container, then another loading can be done from the other side of the container and finally the two can be secured against tilting during transport to one side wall opposite inclined stack by introducing wedges in the middle.
For the purpose of optimizing the visibility, it is possible, particularly preferably, for the operating positions to be arranged in a height-adjustable manner.
In order to accomplish the lateral displaceability of the carrier constructive, can on the mast one in the longitudinal direction, ie substantially upwards and downwardly displaceable, at least substantially horizontally extending rail arrangement may be provided along which the carrier is arranged displaceably.
In order to increase the maximum, lateral displacement distance at a certain longitudinal extension of the rail arrangement, as may be determined together with the width of the vehicle according to the invention, in a preferred embodiment, the rail arrangement has at least two horizontal rail parts displaceable relative to each other.
Both after discontinuation of the plate-shaped Guts on the bottom supports of the shelf, as well as after settling on the bottom of the container, the good is tilted against a previously introduced or against a shelf or container wall. It is therefore advantageous to provide on the support at least one cooperating with a flat side of the plate-shaped Guts support surface with which the plate-shaped Good can then be tilted accordingly.
In order to avoid that at an inclination of the plate-shaped Guts from the vertical rest only edges of the support surface on the plate-shaped Good and linear load peaks arise, the support surface is preferably arranged tiltable from a vertical orientation about an axis extending transversely to the forward direction axis.

For receiving an upright flat glass disc package, the

the undercarriage (5) is suitably designed to run along the bottom beam (14) in its longitudinal direction, for which purpose the base (16) of the undercarriage (15) is configured to be at least almost level and the suspension of the wheels (6, 6'; 7) is selected such that the ground clearance prevents contact between the base (16) and the support (14),
and the vehicle comprises two front wheels (6, 6') and one rear wheel (7), and the lateral spacing of the front wheels (6, 6') and the position of the rear wheel (7) are selected such that the wheels (6, 6'; 7) are sufficiently distanced from the bottom beams (14) that they can be steered when the vehicle is driven symmetrically between the bottom beams (14). - The vehicle according to claim 1, characterized in that the vehicle (100) comprises an at least substantially vertical rod (9) on which the carrier (10) can be arranged such that it is also displaceable in an at least approximately vertical direction.
- The vehicle according to claim 2, characterized in that the rod (9) is rigidly arranged in the front region (8) of the vehicle as viewed in the forward direction of travel.
- The vehicle according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the vehicle (100) comprises at least one control station (12, 12'), and in the front region (8) as viewed in the forward direction of travel, preferably directly behind the rod (9) and opposite the central longitudinal axis (L) of the vehicle (100), said control station is laterally offset in the direction in which the carrier (10) can be laterally displaced.
- The vehicle (100) according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the carrier (10) can be displaced laterally from the driving position in both directions, at least by the horizontal extent of the plate-like goods, into the receiving/depositing position protruding laterally beyond the undercarriage (5), and preferably two control stations (12, 12') are provided, which are arranged on both sides of the central longitudinal axis (L) of the vehicle (100).
- The method according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that the control stations (12, 12') are height-adjustable.
- The vehicle (100) according to one of claims 2 to 6, characterized in that a rail arrangement (19), which can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the rod and which extends at least substantially horizontally and along which the carrier (10) can be displaced, is provided on the rod (9).
- The vehicle according to claim 7, characterized in that the rail arrangement (19) comprises at least two rail components (20, 21, 26) that can be displaced approximately horizontally relative to each other.
- The vehicle according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that at least one support element (47, 47'), which interacts with a narrow side of the plate-like goods, preferably with a frame of a packet of flat glass panes, is provided on the carrier (10).
- The vehicle according to claim 9, characterized in that the support surfaces of the support elements (47, 47') can be tilted from a vertical orientation about an axis T, which runs transversely with respect to the forward direction of travel.
