Claims (6)

  1. Vertically adjustable work and assembly bench (10, 10') having
    a longitudinal axis,
    a base frame (14, 14'),
    a tabletop (121) and/or a support frame (12) for a tabletop (121),
    a lifting device (147) which is arranged to operate between the base frame (14, 14') and the tabletop (121) or the support frame (12),
    a synchronisation device (16) which has a mechanical positive coupling for parallel shifting of the tabletop (121) and/or the support frame (12) corresponding to an adjustment of its height (20) with respect to the base frame (14, 14'), and having
    at least two lateral guidance devices (146) to guide the tabletop (121) and/or the support frame (12) when the height (20) is being adjusted, wherein
    the lateral guidance devices (146) are each designed as a profile in which the tabletop (121) and/or the support frame (12) is received and guided in a vertically moveable manner,
    wherein
    the synchronisation device (16) is partially integrated in the respective lateral guidance device (146) along the longitudinal axis, spaced apart from each other, with a drive chain on a drive side and an output chain on an output side as vertically operating power transmission elements (164), wherein the drive chain is attached at a first contact point and the output chain is attached at a second contact point to the tabletop (121) or to the support frame (12), and
