Definitions

  • the invention relates to a knitting head for a circular knitting machine and a circular knitting machine which is equipped with such a knitting head.
  • Circular knitting machines are from the prior art, as for example by the AT 395867 B is represented, basically known.
  • the circular knitting machine basically includes a machine frame in which a knitting head is mounted.
  • To the knitting head include a knitting cylinder, a knitting lock and a support ring and optionally Rippinn, Rippsch and the like.
  • the support ring is a large, relatively heavy and stiff machine part on which the knitting cylinder is rotatably mounted and which carries the knitting lock.
  • the support ring has more functions. For example, it receives a drive pinion with which the knitting cylinder is to be rotated. Further, it may include a manual drive for manual movement of the knitting cylinder, cable guides, oil supply and oil discharge openings, compressed air supply and support elements for the yarn feed.
  • the knitting head Because the knitting cylinder bearing is integrated into the support ring, the knitting head must be inside the knitting machine be constructed and adjusted. Thus, the work required for erecting the machine frame and the knitting head can be performed only one after another, resulting in a relatively long total assembly time for the knitting machine. If the knitting head in a knitting, for example, to remedy a machine failure or when changing a knitting machine to another pitch or another diameter to be replaced, this is at least difficult for existing machine concepts. If the knitting head and the support ring are removed from the machine, a very large mass has to be moved. Alternatively, the knitting head can be disassembled in the machine and taken out of the machine in its individual parts - this is cumbersome, cumbersome and requires extraordinary expertise.
  • EP 1988 196 A1 is a circular knitting machine known. He has a knitting cylinder with needle channels for knitting needles. A needle lock is arranged concentrically to the knitting cylinder and includes this on its outside. The needle lock is supported on the machine frame. A cylinder support ring, which is rotatably connected to the knitting cylinder, carries the knitting cylinder and is rotatably supported by a bearing on the machine frame. Similar constructions also arise DE 39 06 773 A1 such as EP 0647 732 A1 ,
  • the knitting head according to the invention does not have its own Support ring more. Instead, the support ring is now assigned to the circular knitting machine, ie it is part of the machine frame. However, the knitting head has its own head ring, which serves for the storage of the knitting cylinder and which in turn is connected via a suitable preferably standardized interface with the support ring.
  • the head ring can be much slimmer and thus easier than the previous support ring.
  • the head ring takes its structural rigidity in the built-in case of the frame side firmly mounted support ring. If the weight of the carrying ring of up to approx. 250 kg had previously been assigned to the knitting head, the supporting ring is now part of the machine frame. The weight of a large knitting head can thus be reduced from previously approx.
  • the head ring arranged on the knitting head is not suitable as a central supporting element of the knitting machine.
  • the central supporting element remains the support ring, the but no longer belongs to the knitting head.
  • the interface between the head ring and the support ring is preferably formed in the form of precisely machined and possibly finely machined abutment surfaces on the head ring and on the support ring, which are as uniform as possible for several types of machines. As a result, machine frames and / or knitting heads of different types of machines can be standardized, which reduces the production costs.
  • the bearing used for supporting the knitting cylinder bearing is preferably a rolling bearing with rolling elements in the form of cylinders or tapered rollers, tons, needles or balls.
  • To the bearing include treads, at least one of which is arranged on the head ring and at least one other on the knitting cylinder or a cylinder support ring.
  • the tread may be formed directly on the ring in question or on a corresponding carried by the respective ring element, such as a profile wire or a round wire.
  • the rings in question then have seats for receiving the storage parts.
  • the head ring preferably has at least one annular all-round, preferably flat contact surface, which serves as Axialstrom Chemistry. It is associated with a corresponding equally large, preferably all-round continuous uninterrupted contact surface on the support ring. Due to the areal edition of the head ring on the support ring of the head ring is uniformly supported on its entire circumference and stored stationary.
  • the head ring preferably has a cylindrical, for example, peripheral surface, which in turn may be associated with a corresponding surface of the support ring. This arrangement is a good centering reached the head ring. It can be provided on the head ring a plurality of annular, planar or cylindrical contact surface, as mentioned above.
  • FIG. 1 a circular knitting machine 1 is illustrated.
  • a machine frame 2 which rests on a floor 3 and carries the essential components of the knitting machine 1.
  • a support 4 for attachments is arranged above, to which, for example, yarn feeding devices 5, 6, 7,8 belong.
  • a knitting head 11 belonging to the circular knitting machine 1 generates from these threads 9, 10 (and a large variety of in FIG. 1 not shown threads) the desired knitted fabric, which is wound up, for example, below the knitting head 11 in the machine frame 2 by a take-off device 12.
  • a take-off device 12 To this include, for example, a plurality of horizontally arranged rollers 13, 14 which are arranged in a frame 15 rotating about a vertical axis.
  • the frame 15 preferably rotates about the vertical axis synchronously with the knitting head 11.
  • the structure of the knitting head 11 is in particular from the of FIG. 2 Given partial representation of the knitting machine 1.
  • To the knitting head 11 includes a knitting cylinder 16 which is formed as a hollow cylinder. On its outer circumference vertical slot-like needle channels 17 are arranged. In each needle channel 17 each have a knitting needle 18 and optionally further system parts are mounted longitudinally displaceable.
  • Such a knitting needle 18 has at its upper, protruding from the needle channel end a hook 19 for forming the desired knitwear. At a portion remote from the hook 19, the knitting needle 18 is provided with a foot 20 which is approximately radially away from the knitting cylinder 16 and projects out of the needle channel 17.
  • the knitting cylinder 16 rotating in operation about the vertical axis is, at least in the present embodiment, connected at its upper end with a concentrically arranged to him annular platinum ring 21 which is provided with radial grooves.
  • these sit down holding plates 22 which are radially movable in the sinker ring 21 and with the knitting needles 18, in particular their hooks 19 cooperate to form the desired knit.
  • Each hold-down plate 22 has a foot 23 which protrudes from the sinker ring 21.
  • the knitting cylinder 16 is surrounded by a generally annular needle lock 24, which has on its outer surface of the knitting cylinder 16 side facing at least one guide channel or a guide track 25 in which the foot 20, the knitting needle 18, and the feet of other knitting needles extends ,
  • the needle lock 24 may also have a plurality of vertically offset from one another arranged guide tracks 25, wherein the knitting needles 18 can then be engaged with different guideways.
  • the sinker ring 21 is associated with a board lock 26 having at least one guide track 27 for the hold-down plates 22.
  • the guideways 25, 27 have a rising and falling in the longitudinal direction of the knitting needle 18 and the hold-down plates 22 and profile.
  • the relative rotation between the knitting cylinder 16 and the needle lock 24 thus causes the axial expulsion and retraction movement of the knitting needle 18.
  • the relative rotation between the sinker ring 21 and the board lock 26 causes the radial reciprocating movement of the hold-down plate 22nd
  • the knitting cylinder 16 is associated with a cylinder support ring 28 on which the lower end of the knitting cylinder 16 rests and which is preferably concentric with the knitting cylinder 16 is arranged and firmly connected to this.
  • the cylinder support ring 28 serves for the rotatable mounting of the knitting cylinder 16 by means of a cylinder main bearing 29.
  • a head ring 30 is provided, which is arranged in the circular knitting machine 1 resting.
  • the drive of the knitting cylinder 16 can be effected by any suitable means, such as a drive ring 31 which carries a toothing 32 inside or outside. This can mesh with a pinion 33, which is driven for example by an electric motor.
  • the head ring 30 is a relatively filigree machine part that does not have its own sufficient rigidity, for example, to be only selectively connected to the machine frame. Since the head ring 30 has to absorb the load of the knitting cylinder 16, it therefore supports itself via a corresponding interface 34 on a support ring 35, which belongs to the machine frame 2 and is connected thereto.
  • the support ring 35 receives the outgoing from the head ring 30 load on corresponding seats 36, 37 and derives them into individual struts of the machine frame 2 from.
  • a first seat surface 36 is formed as a flat annular surface, while the second seat surface 37 may be formed as a subsequent cylindrical surface.
  • the head ring 30 has for this purpose on its lower end face a bearing surface 38 and on its outer periphery a circumferentially leading preferably cylindrical abutment surface 39.
  • the contact surface 38 rests evenly on the seat surface 36.
  • the contact surface 39 is centered by the seat surface 37. These conditions are particularly in FIG. 3 illustrated.
  • the seat surfaces 36, 37 of the support ring 35 and the abutment surfaces 38, 39 of the head ring 30 together form the interface 34.
  • the head ring 30 is an intermediate ring between the support ring 35 and the cylinder main bearing 29. At the same time it carries the needle lock 24.
  • a receiving device 40 which may be formed in the form of an adjusting ring for height adjustment of the needle lock 24.
  • the adjusting ring 40 may be formed one or more parts. For example, it receives the needle lock 24 on its upper side. About one or more adjusting elements 41, for example in the form of a threaded ring, the adjusting ring 40 is supported on the head ring 30 from.
  • the head ring 30, the adjusting ring 40 and the needle lock 24 rest during operation of the circular knitting machine while the knitting cylinder 16 rotates.
  • the board lock 26 rests.
  • This can be connected via struts 42 with the head ring 30, as it FIG. 4 illustrated by a slightly modified embodiment.
  • Such struts 42 extend in a vertical direction at several points of the circumference of the head ring 30 from this starting up and they are connected to the top of the board lock 26.
  • FIG. 5 illustrates the structure of the cylinder main bearing 29 separately.
  • the head ring 30 can, as shown, be formed in two parts and consist of two partial rings 30a, 30b. These define between each other an annular groove-like recess 43.
  • this suitable bearing rings may be inserted, here for example in the form of bearing wires 44, 45, the running surfaces 44a, 45a for example, provide spherical rolling elements 46.
  • the cylinder support ring 28 likewise defines an annular groove-like recess 47 opposite the recess 43, in which further wires 48, 49 are arranged to provide running surfaces 48a, 49a for the rolling elements 46. These can be arranged in a plastic chain 50, which forms a bearing cage.
  • the interface 34 may be formed on the head ring 30 also multi-stepped.
  • the contact surfaces 38, 39 can be subdivided into partial surfaces 38a, 38b.
  • the abutment surfaces 39 can be subdivided into corresponding subareas 39a, 39b.
  • the associated seat surfaces 36, 37 can be subdivided accordingly into partial surfaces. Otherwise, the above description applies accordingly.
  • FIG. 1 illustrated knitting machine 1 has, as described above, a knitting head 11 which is formed as a separate assembly, the cylinder main bearing 29 is part of the knitting head 11 and it ends at the interface 34. He can be led out of the support ring 35 separated from the knitting machine 1 and used in the same way again in the knitting machine 1.
  • the knitting head removed from the knitting machine 1 can rotate on the head ring 30 due to the bearing 29 contained in the knitting head.
  • a production operation without a machine frame is not possible, however, the fine tuning of the moving system parts can be carried out before commissioning.
  • the knitting head change 1 is simplified in comparison to circular knitting machines according to the prior art, in which the knitting head 11 of the support ring 35 belongs. In the knitting machine according to the invention, however, the support ring 35 belongs to the machine frame 2 and the complete bearing 29 to the knitting head eleventh
  • the knitting head 11 can be completely pre-assembled and adjusted and used at the given time in the circular knitting machine 1.
  • the machine frame and the knitting head can be assembled at the same time.
  • the parallel assembly reduces the assembly time.
  • a knitting head 11 which contains the complete cylinder main bearing 29 and which is provided at its lower end with a standardized interface 34 for receiving a machine frame side support ring 35.
  • the support ring 35 supports the head ring 30 along the entire circumference, the same preferably with a continuous round running seat 36th
